Hi, I'm.
Speaker 1:Tinkerbell the dog, and I'm her little sister, belle, and this is our podcast.
Speaker 2:Fierce fabulous fluff Talking about stuff Gossip Pups. Fierce fabulous fluff Talking about stuff Gossip Pups.
Speaker 1:Happy. Friday everyone, I'm Tinkerbell and I'm Belle, and welcome to Gossip Pups, season 3, episode 11.
Speaker 3:Episode 11, also known as episode once.
Speaker 1:Once Also known as episode 114.
Speaker 3:Yeah, good morning Tinker. Good morning how you doing. I'm doing all right. How are you doing Belle?
Speaker 1:Just fabulous today.
Speaker 3:Thank you.
Speaker 1:I had my breakfast. I'm happy and I'm doing good. It's warmer weather out here in New York.
Speaker 3:I know we hit the 60s this week. I know it's warmer weather out here in New York.
Speaker 1:I know we hit the 60s this week. I know it's a fabulous thing, in spite of the time change messing me up.
Speaker 3:I know that was pretty brutal.
Speaker 1:It's annoying. And then we're doing it again in the fall, like I don't get it and apparently Arizona doesn't do it, hawaii doesn't do it, but we're. Apparently Arizona doesn't do it, hawaii doesn't do it, but we're, apparently we're. It's up to the state, but the government, like the president, won't change it because it's 50-50.
Speaker 1:I know Some people prefer it and some people don't, so I honestly don't care which way it is, I just don't want to keep changing the clock. Yeah, I don't prefer anything. Just keep it still. I don't want to keep changing the clock.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I don't prefer anything, just keep it still. I don't know, but I do like how there's more sunlight.
Speaker 1:But not in the morning. It's very dark.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Very dark, but it doesn't get dark too early now. No, it stays lighter later, but in the morning it's a little scary, little scary.
Speaker 3:I just like it this way Again, it just depends on your preference.
Speaker 1:Yes, and I don't have one, honestly. But I only accept a time change when we travel, okay, not when we're at home. That's not acceptable, that's all.
Speaker 3:But like we've gotten used to it already, I feel yeah, it took a week.
Speaker 1:No, it's not a week, yet almost saturday. Sunday is a week, yeah, but definitely the one hour. I don't feel it as much no, in the beginning it was like the one hour is harder than like when we go away and there's like a six hour time difference for some reason. I don't know. I guess because when we're away I'm excited. I don't know.
Speaker 3:I get it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, whatever. So anyway, shall we go to banter.
Speaker 3:I think we should. I mean we already started, because you started complaining about the time change. I know.
Speaker 1:But I didn't even have that in banter. I just I don't know, oh, that wasn't in banter.
Speaker 3:No, that was like the start of the week, was that?
Speaker 1:I know.
Speaker 3:But I don't know why I talked about that. Okay, well, that was a good way to segue into.
Speaker 1:We segued. Here we go so Into banter.
Speaker 1:Banter for the week, bell's Bandit for the week. What happened, besides the crazy time change? We had our bath, which was so needed, so needed. We got beautiful sweaters from Minnie Rose, with their pink and rhinestone necks, and Hume got one too to match. They're floral and pink and they're very pretty. So so thank you, minnie Rose. And then the big boxes arrived and I was like what's that? And Tink's like I know what that is. And I was like how do you know, tink? She's like because before you, belle, I used to get this and this is. We got presents from Away Luggage, yep, and they're beautiful, this new line they have of translucent colored suitcases. There's pink and green. I jumped on the pink because I love pink. Tink was feeling the green, so she got the green, but that was really nice. Thank you, away. We love them. We can't wait to travel and use them. And what else? We had an audition yesterday and that's about it. That happened this week, I think. Oh, we started to watch that new show. What is it called, tinker?
Speaker 3:Paradise, paradise, I liked it.
Speaker 1:I Tinker Paradise, paradise. I liked it. I mean, we watched one episode. Check it out. It's called Paradise. I think we'll watch it again, but it's only one episode a week. It's like the pond people. What is it? The pond people? The?
Speaker 3:way home.
Speaker 1:The way home is Friday nights. That's only once a week, but that's over. Yeah, that's over, but they could still watch it. You know, that's like A who's A. All they do is keep jumping in the pond. Did anyone know? Pretty Little Liars, that's what that's like. They just keep jumping in the pond.
Speaker 3:I don't know, but I like it. Well, no, because we're not looking for like one person or something in the way home, it's just no but it's the why do you keep doing this? Yeah, it's just getting a little silly.
Speaker 1:And no town is like in on it.
Speaker 3:I know Everybody's pond jumpers.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and no one knew everyone was a pond jumper, because it's apparently some secret. But everybody's a pawn jumper. It's funny. But this other show seemed pretty good. We watched the first episode.
Speaker 3:Paradise. I know, I think you are more into it than I am.
Speaker 1:Well, because I'm trying to figure it out, so I like that I have to figure out what's going on here.
Speaker 3:I don't want to spoil it, because if you watch it I mean, the first episode is definitely there's a huge reveal. Oh yes, so I won't spoil it for anyone. But at the same time I was like what?
Speaker 1:Yeah, I was like come on. It's like all these kind of shows. They're a little silly, a little strange, but whatever. When there's nothing really on, you watch it. But Monday is the iHeart Awards and Taylor's going to be there.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 1:So I can't wait to watch that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, we'll see what happens.
Speaker 1:Yeah, anyway. So let me get to the stats for this week before Tinker goes on to her Stats. Her pop culture here.
Speaker 3:Okay, okay so what are we doing with stats?
Speaker 1:New locations Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Speaker 3:Oh. Isn't that the airport that's like super close to the city.
Speaker 1:Yeah, isn't that like Newark Airport Around there? Yeah, yeah, isn't that like Newark Airport?
Speaker 3:Around there yeah.
Speaker 1:Maybe someone at the airport was listening because they missed their flight or something. Maybe Next new location?
Speaker 3:Canary Wharf Tower.
Speaker 1:Hamlets Okay, don't know where that is. Then there's a mystery location. It just has a blank spot. Look at that.
Speaker 3:Isn't that weird? Wait, that's strange.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that means they're in an unidentifiable location. Maybe they're up in the space shuttle, maybe.
Speaker 3:Canary Wharf is in London.
Speaker 1:Woohoo, london's back on the charts. The.
Speaker 3:London Borough of Tower Hamlets in Greater London.
Speaker 1:There you go Back in London. You better fight back. You used to be in second place. I don't even know where you guys are now on our stats, but I'll find out. And then another mystery location, but somewhere in North Carolina.
Speaker 3:Oh, okay.
Speaker 1:Must be deep in the woods and they couldn't get the location.
Speaker 3:It just says North Carolina.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it just says comma North Carolina. They couldn't get it. They couldn't get the location. It's funny how that happens on Buzzsprout, where on the stats, where you see like just something, a comma. It means that, wherever the location is, it wasn't readable for the stats or something. It's like no satellites there. So how do they find us? If they have no satellites, they must have some magic.
Speaker 3:I don't know.
Speaker 1:Okay, so let's go to our top countries and territories for the week.
Speaker 3:Okay, here we go.
Speaker 1:United States, australia, germany, france, ukraine is still up there. Mm-hmm, wow, ukraine is still up there. Wow, do you know? Tink has had her hair, her diamonds made from her hair from Ukraine. Excuse me, your diamonds that you made went from your hair. They're from the Ukraine.
Speaker 3:Oh yeah, they are Ukrainian diamonds. Yes, they are Lab grown diamonds.
Speaker 1:Lab grown diamonds from Tinky's hair.
Speaker 3:Wow.
Speaker 1:From the Ukraine, maybe the whole team. They told everyone over there about it, you or something. Next is Japan, followed by Philippines, united Kingdom, bangladesh and Switzerland. Wow, wow, that's epic, it's all over. And guys, we would love to go visit all of your countries. I don't know A hundred percent Except we have to wait for Ukraine war to end before we can go there, right?
Speaker 3:Yeah, let's not get into that, yeah.
Speaker 1:No, but yeah so.
Speaker 3:Hope you're okay over there. Ukraine yeah, keep listening. Keep listening.
Speaker 1:Keep listening. So welcome new locations, new listeners, welcome new GPS people. We love you all, and that's it for the banter for today.
Speaker 3:Hit it Tinker. Time for some pop culture, yeah. So first story is about the queen, of course, and hairy face. So Taylor and Travis were spotted on a low-key dinner date in Park City, utah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they go to really good places on their private plane.
Speaker 3:Yeah. So Taylor and Travis managed to keep a very low profile while dining out in Park City, utah. This past Monday. Dumois posted footage of the couple leaving a Park City restaurant. Swift and Kelsey were escorted by security to an SUV and slid into the vehicle quietly without attracting attention from passerby. They reportedly hung out in the snowy hotspot last week. So also there was like no paparazzi, no one waiting outside, like no one had any idea they were there. It was just, you know them, living their lives, enjoying their time together.
Speaker 1:Excellent, just you know them, living their lives, enjoying their time together, excellent. So do they sleep on her plane and not a hotel? Is that why it was so low-key, like no one spotted them, I wonder no, they probably have.
Speaker 3:Like I just think that I don't know, maybe, like everyone over there is just chill and you don't really realize, maybe they had like a nice um, what's the word?
Speaker 2:what can you get there?
Speaker 3:like a chalet. Yeah, they rented a chalet or something and they were just, you know, doing their thing, yeah, and they decided to go out to eat once and they were spotted spotted, but not that crazy spotted, because there was no like crowds or anything.
Speaker 1:No, I feel like it's a good time to go there because, well, now starts everybody's spring break, but last week was not, so it's probably a good in-between time. They figure out the more quiet times, I think.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and they're like laying low, yeah, mm-hmm.
Speaker 1:So she has to surface Monday. Yeah, we, they're like laying low, yeah, mm-hmm. So she has to surface Monday.
Speaker 3:Yeah, we'll see if she does.
Speaker 1:What do you mean? I thought she's going to.
Speaker 3:I know, I think she is.
Speaker 1:You think?
Speaker 3:Well, I hope she is.
Speaker 1:You told me she definitely had to be there. I was like I don't think she's going to go and you told me she was because she's getting a special honor so then she has to be there.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah, she'll be there.
Speaker 3:Okay. I don't know about hairy face.
Speaker 1:I know when does he start practice, because he's got to really focus this year.
Speaker 3:He was terrible last year. Wait, what are we in March, march?
Speaker 1:Uh, we're in, yes.
Speaker 3:I don't know, because when do they start? Like September is, like their games are like the end of August, so they probably start.
Speaker 1:Oh, in the summertime you mean they start?
Speaker 3:No, no, no, I mean like the games start.
Speaker 1:So that means that they have to start training by like April.
Speaker 3:Easter April. Yeah, maybe May.
Speaker 1:He begs it, on it, on it.
Speaker 3:Oh no. What did he say about weddings? That weddings only happen in the spring.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, Because they're all.
Speaker 3:Because of football. So.
Speaker 1:Maybe May they start.
Speaker 3:So maybe they start like, yeah, towards the end of May, or like June, so he's got time.
Speaker 1:He'll probably go then Instead of wondering You'll love that. When do NFL teams start practice? Harry Face loves the line by Taylor's giving him. You know that. I think that's why Taylor likes him too, because none of our others were like wanted to be in the spotlight so badly as Harry Face. It says that year-round conditioning is voluntary. Oh well, yeah, he volunteers not to do it. Wait, but when do they start? Oh uh, no, that's for soccer. I remember we saw that special on. Uh, my homies and he, he does do it year-round yeah.
Speaker 3:yeah, I know he's really hardcore.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:NFL like when do they start training?
Speaker 1:I guess you call it spring training. Is that what it's called?
Speaker 3:Maybe it says July 15th.
Speaker 1:Oh wow, he's got a long break, he'll really be.
Speaker 3:Maybe that's wrong though.
Speaker 1:He'll really be out of shape by then. Oof.
Speaker 3:Well, hopefully he's still. I mean he's definitely probably working out and stuff. I mean that's like you don't just go from. That's like being a ballet dancer you can't.
Speaker 1:Well, you take a week off if you go away, but then it's torture getting back.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that's what I'm saying, so.
Speaker 1:I don't think it's you don't just not do. I bet she has a gym on the private plane.
Speaker 3:He's like running on a treadmill on the plane.
Speaker 1:But I told you that's why Taylor likes him, because he's the only one who has ever wanted the extra spotlight on him.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but also I do feel like I know you try to you think that he doesn't have. I think that he is very structured and like he's very dedicated to his profession, even though he might be like doing extra dinners and extra this with her, but I think that he is very focused and he also has like a really great like the podcast, like he has a lot going on too, but I feel like that's because of jason.
Speaker 1:I feel like jason is the driven one out of the two I guess we'll see. I mean, they're both very successful fell players yeah, but when they said that he was returning, they said I remember reading that. They said he has to get his act together and not be out all the time and more focused on the game. Yeah.
Speaker 3:Maybe Taylor is whipping him into shape. She better. He did get a haircut too, did you see? Yeah, thank goodness.
Speaker 1:Cut his hairy face too. I was like Taylor's like.
Speaker 3:You gotta got to clean up this look.
Speaker 1:You look like a woodsman.
Speaker 3:He did. I know he's getting whipped into shape. She has to.
Speaker 1:I mean, come on, you can't look like that around her. So funny.
Speaker 3:Yeah, all right, okay, moving on Next story. Yeah, all right, okay, moving on Next story Next, okay. So this is about Kelly Clarkson. So Kelly Clarkson is absent from talk show due to personal matter. Kelly Clarkson has been absent from her talk show for more than a week to handle a personal matter. According to a new report, the singer is completely fine, but she has been dealing with a personal matter that does not directly involve her. Sources told tmz on wednesday the undisclosed matter isn't a cause for alarm, per the outlet, and that's basically the story. It says that that uh clarkson will return to the studio thursday. The insider. However, it is unclear whether she will appear in Thursday's episode, which guest host Molly Sims already filmed, or is simply pre-taping future episodes.
Speaker 1:Yeah, everybody's speculating because she's so thin now, like everybody's speculating, there's a health issue going on, but she said that it's just a personal matter not related to herself.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, I mean it could be like, I mean it could be an array of things. Oh yeah, she has kids oh yeah, but everybody likes to speculate of course everyone's speculating, yeah, but also I just feel like everyone's just used to her like being there yeah, she never takes a break yeah, I don't think she's taking one day off, really no she never does.
Speaker 1:I mean, she deserves this and she should just say I wanted a vacation.
Speaker 3:Well, I don't know, it might not even be a vacay.
Speaker 1:I don't know, maybe she just needs time off.
Speaker 3:Yeah, or it could be like the most random thing, like a great aunt, yeah, needs help or something or is ill or she needs to deal with something. Like there's so many, there's so many things I could that it could be, and it's no one's business but we'll never know no, unless she finally says like what it is.
Speaker 1:I don't think so at some point just like when hoda was missing from the today show, something happened with her daughter, but nobody ever said.
Speaker 3:Well, no, but she said my daughter was sick and explained it. It wasn't a personal matter?
Speaker 1:She didn't really explain.
Speaker 3:Yes, but at least they were like the daughter was sick. That is explanation enough, but this is a personal matter. Kelly's saying.
Speaker 1:Maybe it's a contract negotiation thing. Oh, I don't know well she'll win because it's her show. Like it could be so many things, yeah, could be.
Speaker 3:We have to wait to find out yes, but well just hopefully she's okay I don't really watch the show, but I I was actually wondering if the guest hosts they obviously don't do kelly oaky, do they sing in the beginning? Well, I guess not I saw like brooke shields did it, but like oh, I hope she's not singing, but I don't think she was doing like these hosts aren't?
Speaker 1:singers because she, they're not Kelly, so they can't do Kelly-oke.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:But wouldn't it be smart to get people that sing? Maybe Because wouldn't that be cool if they?
Speaker 1:I think it would be cool, but maybe that's why they purposely haven't gotten singers, because they couldn't figure it out in time.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, true, yep, okay, all right, kelly, wishing you the best. Bye Kelly, bye We'll see you soon.
Speaker 1:Bye Kelly, We'll see you back soon.
Speaker 3:Okay. Gene Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa's wills revealed who gets his $800 million fortune. Wow, the details of Gene Hackman and Betsy Arakawa's wills have been revealed two weeks after they were both found dead in their New Mexico home. Hackman left his estimated $80 million fortune to Arakawa.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's a problem.
Speaker 3:Yes, the legendary actor, who had Alzheimer's disease, had not updated his will since June 2005. It is unclear whether Hackman's three children were named in the legal document due to arakawa's death, which preceded hackman's by one week. The money likely will still be passed to his kids, whom he shared with his ex-wife, faye maltese. However, given the uncertainty of hackman's beneficiaries, there could be a legal battle brewing between christopher, who reportedly has hired a high-powered attorney, and his two sisters.
Speaker 1:Meanwhile I didn't even talk to them what the heck.
Speaker 3:Meanwhile, arakawa's assets were designated to a trust which will pay out all her medical debts before being distributed to different charities.
Speaker 1:What so she?
Speaker 3:She did not have children of her own. Okay, so she's left it in a trust to pay her medical expenses and and then give to charities, but it's not the money from Gene Hackman, because she died before him.
Speaker 1:Right.
Speaker 3:So she doesn't. She doesn't inherit his $80 million because she died before him, right? So she doesn't.
Speaker 1:So all that, she doesn't inherit his 80 million because she died first.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:So now it's just his with his kids who didn't talk to him fighting.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I didn't know that they didn't talk to him. I don't know. There was one.
Speaker 1:The one daughter said she had spoken to him like weeks before he passed. The other two don't talk to him. Apparently they haven't talked to him Like if you had a relationship you would talk to them more often. No, I guess I also feel like if there was a relationship, this situation wouldn't have happened.
Speaker 3:Yeah, probably not.
Speaker 1:Because if you're calling someone and they're not answering you, first thing is okay, something's wrong. Send the cops. So I just feel like they all want his money and there was no relationship, which is sad.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1:Well, I don't know why he hired a high-powerful attorney to say what you weren't nice to him.
Speaker 3:I don't know why he hired a high-powerful attorney to say what? You weren't nice to him. I don't know Me either. We will see.
Speaker 1:Yes, we shall, it's going to play out.
Speaker 3:Yep Next story.
Speaker 1:Next story.
Speaker 3:Okay. So Wendy Williams looks ecstatic as she hits NYC hotspot after passing psych evaluation with flying colors. Wendy Williams was spotted leaving a New York City hotspot after she was hospitalized and subjected to a psychiatric evaluation. The TV personality appeared in good spirits as she smiled wide for the outing at Max Tucci's Tucci restaurant in NoHo on Wednesday night. She kept it casual, wearing a green and orange bomber jacket, black top tights under jean shorts and black furry boots. She had a super time. She kept writing in her journal. She looked great. An insider told page six.
Speaker 2:Tomorrow she is going on the view, so that's today this article wait, so apparently today she's going on the View.
Speaker 3:Hold on and guests inside the restaurant respected her. She was with her niece and a young man. Oh, so apparently she also. Sorry, so Williams sighting comes after she was transported via ambulance from her assisted living home to Lenox Hill Hospital following a wellness check on Monday.
Speaker 1:This has all been happening throughout the whole week, but she called into Good Day New York Rosanna Scotto.
Speaker 3:She did.
Speaker 1:And had a phone conversation that was on air but she wasn't there. Yeah, she had a phone convo.
Speaker 3:I think the view is also going to be phone call in Got it and she also had a psych evaluation this week and it's she told, like Roseanne Escato and everyone, that it was ruled to be, that she was ruled to be alert and oriented and received a 10 out of 10 score on a capacity test.
Speaker 1:Good.
Speaker 3:And so the outlet reported that the results would be used in a court case seeking to end the talk show host's guardianship, which she has been under since 2022.
Speaker 1:Which we still don't know who that is.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I still don't. I don't get it.
Speaker 1:Like you, should let her family take care of her, not some stranger who's just taking the money, and apparently that facility she was in is a lot of money. Yes, and Wendy Williams, she might have nothing left.
Speaker 3:She's also waiting to be retested for frontotemporal dementia. After denying she suffered from the condition earlier this year, she was diagnosed with the disease in 2023.
Speaker 1:I honestly just think it was because we saw that documentary.
Speaker 1:It was just like she's so much like alcohol yeah, I think it's, I think it's really driven by alcohol personally, and she hasn't had a drink now, so she's back to normal yeah, I honestly think it's the alcohol problem and so all she needed to get was help for that, not make up all these stories that she's got dementia and this and that and this and that, like if she didn't post help me and hang signs and bang on the windows, nobody would have gone there yeah, but at the same time, like we saw in the documentary, like she obviously is alcoholic yeah, yes and there's no controlling it.
Speaker 3:Some like she's if she wants it, she's gonna get it well, unless she's supervised. But supervision is not locking her in a mental yeah, exactly, that's not supervision.
Speaker 1:That's, that's crazy. So I feel like she's been there so long now that she her even her withdrawal symptoms are probably gone yeah, I mean, but also I mean, who knows, she might have like early signs of dementia or something.
Speaker 3:But I feel like most people that are diagnosed with dementia probably are in denial. So that could also be a thing. I don't know. It's it's really confusing, I don't know, it's really confusing.
Speaker 1:I don't know who the guardian is. It's stealing all the money.
Speaker 3:How is she allowed to go out to eat? I?
Speaker 1:don't get it. Her niece signed her out the night before to go to dinner and then now the guardian is suing the facility because they let the niece take her to dinner the night before.
Speaker 3:Let her go to dinner. Yeah, do you think that she had a drink at dinner?
Speaker 1:No, I don't.
Speaker 3:Really, I don't know.
Speaker 1:I don't think so. I remember that niece from the documentary Me too, and she was like I want to take care of my aunt. This is not acceptable, yeah. But at the same time they would go and do things and like she would order like a martini or whatever and no one would say anything. Right, but I think now, because she's totally been sober, I don't think Denise would have done that.
Speaker 3:I hope not. I don't know. I don't know what goes on. No, it's very confusing. And also like, who paid? I guess the niece paid for the dinner because she has $10 to her name, Wendy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, because this facility she's in is like for gazillionaires.
Speaker 3:So I don't know, so that's probably where all her money is going.
Speaker 1:Yes, and whoever these guardians are don't know who they are either, but they're obviously not doing the right thing from the beginning.
Speaker 3:Yeah, well, I guess we'll find out more on the view when we see the view clips Today. Yeah, apparently it's today. Okay, It'll probably be circulating.
Speaker 1:Oh yeah, Just like we found out about the Rosanna Scotto.
Speaker 3:Yeah, when she called in to go to New York, that was wild yeah Craziness. Yeah and yeah. Those are my four stories.
Speaker 1:I've got four today too.
Speaker 3:Nice.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so here we go on to pop culture, pop culture. So this is going to follow up on the Gene Hackman story that you just did.
Speaker 3:Okay so.
Speaker 1:I'm going to skip the article because I don't want to hear. We don't need to rehash about the bodies and everything like that. So paramedics with the Santa Fe Fire Department entered the couple's property through the front door and saw Betsy lying on the nearby bathroom floor, and they didn't see anyone else, despite the 30 minutes of continual searching. Amidst this search, the couple's two living dogs, bear and Nikita, which were like shepherds or something, continuously ran up to them, barking and running off in a different direction. They finally realized over 30 minutes later that the dogs were saying hey, come over here, come over here. The first responders followed the dogs to a mudroom at the back of the home where they discovered Gene's body on the floor. The back door had been left open, allowing Bear and Nikita to roam freely in and out of the house. So if it wasn't for these two dogs, they would have never found Gene Hackman. They were searching over 30 minutes and didn't find him.
Speaker 3:That is wild and the dogs kept going he's over here, he's over here.
Speaker 1:And finally, the one guy was like something's going on, these dogs are telling us something, and decided to follow them. So once again, doggy power. Thank you to the pups.
Speaker 2:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1:It's crazy, right, yes, all right. Next story the pet critics have spoken. Animals adore watching a certain Oscar winner and hate one hit TV show. The results are in. Pets are picking Flo over Severance by a long shot. After the 2025 Oscars air on March 2nd, pets across the globe seem to weigh in on their favorite projects as well. Flo, which won animated feature at the awards, appears to put pets at ease when they watch. The film sees a lone black cat make friends with an unlikely bunch of a bunch after a flood washes away the world. In the movie, which offers no dialogue, the group of animals travel on a boat to safer destination while looking out for one another along the way.
Speaker 1:I noticed Fishbone watching Flo with me, said someone in a TikTok, and it got over 20,000 likes. In the second clip, fishbone is seen paying close attention to the television series as he hops from one part of the room to another to get a better view, never breaking eye contact with the TV. Look at this. He's never been interested in movies before. The owners said in the footage he watched the entire movie with me.
Speaker 1:Though many videos like this can be seen on social media, ones that include clips of pets watching severance are a bit different. My biggest concern was thinking something was wrong with my dog, and then the feeling guilty when I realized it was the TV show. Her golden retriever, knox, would start pacing, whining and crying, unable to settle, and hiding in the other room anytime Severance was on. I still love the show, but I have to watch it with my AirPods or a subtitle so that Knox doesn't get scared. She said, aww, I know Another dog, peyton, freaked out as she leaped off her bed, leaped onto me and was laying behind me when Severance turned on. We have to try that. Have I seen Severance?
Speaker 3:No, we have to try that. I've never have I seen Severance. No, we tried one episode, I think, when it first came out and we were confused and not interested we'll see maybe we should try it again and see if we get scared and then put Flo on the tv and see if we like it.
Speaker 1:I've never seen Flo, so anyway, apparently let me know about your it's dogs and cats, apparently that all love watching Flo. They sit there the whole movie and stare at it. I mean, I love TV, I like a lot of TV, I watch a lot of TV. Yeah, and human thinks it's funny and Tink doesn't really like TV as much.
Speaker 3:Yeah, like it depends, but I'm not like my ears are not dancing, I'm not really like interested in exactly what's going on on the screen when you are like I'm focused. Yeah, you're very focused.
Speaker 1:So maybe I should turn flow on and see how I like it Okay, and then turn severance on and see if I run for the hills.
Speaker 3:Maybe, Alright.
Speaker 1:Next story Video captures soulless person dumping a dog on an Arizona street and telling the pet bye-bye before driving off. Someone pushed a dog out of their vehicle and left the pet alone on the street in Arizona. According to the footage of the heartbreaking incident the video shared on Facebook a red SUV quickly approaches a dead-end street, makes a U-turn. Then the car slows down, opens the back door, a small dog is let out of the SUV and left in the street. A voice from the car says Bye-bye as someone closes the door and then the vehicle takes off. The pup tried to follow behind it. Moments later the dog returned to the end of the street and was approached by a kind stranger. According to the time stamp on the surveillance video, it occurred around 12.16 pm. Around 12.16 pm, trisha Sweesey, whose home surveillance camera captured the footage of the incident, wrote in the caption the dog is contained with a neighbor. She added that the animal control picked up the pup and law enforcement knew about the abandonment.
Speaker 1:Per Arizona Family Johanna found the black and white pup post-dumping during an afternoon stroll in the neighborhood. In an interview she opened up about the emotional experience, saying I was angered, I was flabbergasted, I was shocked. So many emotions. Look at this guy. Why would you dump him? Aww, he's so cute. I know Good Samaritan said the dog was malnourished when she found him. I know intent. I understand things are hard and things can be tough in life, but you don't have to be a soulless human and that was just a soulless thing. Anyway, the pup is okay. He's at the Animal Control Center in Arizona. He's going to be up for adoption soon once he's adjusted. But I mean thank goodness that they found him. Look at this guy, he's so cute. Poor thing he probably is all confused. People are nuts. Yeah, pretty much, just saying People are nuts, pretty much. And for my last people are nuts story and for my last story no, my last people are nuts story here we go.
Speaker 1:Neglected poodles and doodles found dirty and matted lose 51 pounds of filthy fur during the three day makeover. What, yes, a pack of poodles and doodles were learning what love is. In Walton County, florida, recently received a call from a concerned animal lover about a group of dogs being used for backyard breeding.
Speaker 3:Oh no.
Speaker 1:Backyard breeders are individuals who breed dogs for profit without proper care, health screenings or concern for the animal's well-being. What, unlike reputable breeders who prioritize responsibilities, breeding and health checks, backyard breeders often operate in poor conditions. Dogs are kept in cages, bred repeatedly and denied proper medical care. According to Hood, the concerned individual who called the rescue was a family member of the backyard breeder who was worried about the dogs under the breeder's care. Kind of froze my page. I just have to refresh this. Sorry, give me a second, technical difficulties, guys. Welcome to the world of computers, oh goodness.
Speaker 1:Okay. Anyway, they went over, they saw all of these dogs, matted, filthy, hairy, and they took all of them. Look, I'm going to show you this tinker. So can you tell, that's even a dog.
Speaker 3:No, not at all.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's really bad. And look at all the so they it took them three days because there were so many of them and their hair was so long and filthy and matted. Look at all the hair days because there were so many of them and their hair was so long and filthy and matted. Look at all the hair. So they ended up 51 pounds of filthy, matted no they trimmed off of these dogs 51 pounds that's insane yes, and now the, the dogs are okay.
Speaker 1:they're adjusting, they're, they're being taken care of, they're eating. They will be up for adoption soon. But what is wrong with people?
Speaker 3:I don't know.
Speaker 1:I just don't get it.
Speaker 3:That is really insane.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and that is the end of today's pop culture, of your pop culture. Maybe, we should call it cruel human culture too. Some humans really need to be checked, maybe. Yeah, so that's it. Hey, apparently there was a special moon this morning. Did anyone catch these photos of this special moon?
Speaker 3:Nope, I did not.
Speaker 1:I also didn't see it anywhere, like when I was scrolling through all you know pop culture stuff, Because it happened at like 2.40 in the morning. Who's awake?
Speaker 3:I can look it up right now.
Speaker 1:Oh, you're going to look for the photos. Yeah, did anyone stay?
Speaker 3:awake to go take photos. It was called the Lunar Blood Moon.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it was apparently going to be fabulous. Oh, it's a blood moon eclipse.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I couldn't stay awake until 2.40 in the morning. Wow, it just couldn't happen. I mean, the photos look cool, yeah, but yeah, but I was not. I was not staying awake till then.
Speaker 1:No, sorry, but probably in other states with a different time it would have been earlier, so I probably could have done it in another state.
Speaker 3:Mm-hmm.
Speaker 1:But yeah, if you have any photos, send them over. Thanks, yeah, yeah, and that's about it, right, tinker.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:That's wrapping it up.
Speaker 3:I think that is it Okay. So where is my script here? Yeah, oh, make sure to listen. Review. Download Review, like Review, subscribe, review and give us five paws up.
