Speaker 2:

Happy Valentine's Day. Hope you's great too. Yeah, enjoy your coffee with us. Happy Valentine's Day. Hope you all have a great day and get nice chocolates and presents and whatever else humans get on Valentine's Day.

Speaker 3:

Mostly chocolates, I think. Chocolates, yeah, shaped like a heart, yeah, and just gifts. Diamonds, ooh.

Speaker 2:

Fancy.

Speaker 3:

Pearls Like that one Tink yeah and just gifts Diamonds, fancy Pearls.

Speaker 2:

Like that one Tink. Yeah, nice, bring on the jewelry.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So hope everyone had a good week. It seems so long ago that everything happened, but we're back on a Friday again. Here we are.

Speaker 3:

I know it seems again I feel like we lived a million lifetimes in this week, in one week.

Speaker 2:

Seriously, we did. Well, there's not much. Let me get to banter right away so we get to the Valentine's Day. So here we go. What happened this week since we last spoke? Well, it was a big week.

Speaker 3:

It was a big week. It was a big week, yeah, what do you mean? It was like such a big weekend.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you mean, yes, okay, I'm getting to it, I think. So what happened? We had one adventure booking which I can't tell you about Very excited. Oh, our designer, friend Charlotte's Dress, from Italy, is sending us some more fine Italian goods. We're so excited. She makes the most beautiful clothing. Yeah they are really gorgeous. I know she's going to send us another present, so I'm so excited. What else we had? A bath, of course. Then comes the Super Bowl. Of course, then comes the Super Bowl. I think the Chiefs forgot they were supposed to play.

Speaker 2:

They were like sleeping. It was very strange.

Speaker 3:

Oh goodness, what a nightmare.

Speaker 2:

We had our Super Bowl party and we watched the Chiefs sleeping out there. But the Eagles were fabulous, they were flying.

Speaker 3:

They were yeah. I have no idea what the heck happened.

Speaker 2:

They didn't play.

Speaker 3:

It was definitely disappointing. Yeah, didn't play it was.

Speaker 2:

It was definitely disappointing yeah, I thought it was supposed to be like this, this insanely close game like a one point lead kind of thing, like tie lead, tie lead, tie lead. It was only one way. The eagles, eaglesagles, the chiefs went, phew, yep, sleeping Anyway we had a good party.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we had a great party. Yeah, we had great food, but what a game.

Speaker 2:

I told you they were sleeping. I think we could have done better, but whatever.

Speaker 3:

I feel like we've gotten both sides of the spectrum. Whatever I feel like we've gotten like both sides of the spectrum. Um, now we've gotten like the experience of them winning the team that you want winning in the Super Bowl, and like the excitement of that. And then we had like the total opposite, just barking at the TV every time. Yeah, they just weren't playing, they couldn't even catch a ball, they couldn't pass it my homies never threw the ball.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he never threw it. It was almost like he was doing it on purpose. It was so weird.

Speaker 2:

I said this a couple of episodes ago. I wonder if football is fixed too.

Speaker 3:

Well, that's what they were saying. So then it's fixed. And they were saying, but, so then it's fixed. And they were like okay, now you can't win.

Speaker 2:

You can't win because you won the last two games and it totally messed up Travis's hairy face's plans. Oh, hairy face, hairy face's plans.

Speaker 3:

Hairy face was so defeated.

Speaker 2:

He couldn't, they had to finally take him out to get a score.

Speaker 3:

Can we just talk about how he wore that 70s sequin outfit?

Speaker 2:

He was like in the movie Saturday Night Fever. I was like what is this guy doing? And all I could think of was him having to put that thing on when he lost and walk out defeated with a sequined 70s outfit it's a lot, but he's a lot but he did not look happy he was a man, baby, he was not lot.

Speaker 3:

But he's a lot. Yeah, but he did not look happy. He was a man baby. He was not happy man, baby Mahomes was not happy.

Speaker 2:

No, mahomes was planning on going to Disney World with his family. Yeah, that didn't happen. They only take the. You know how they take the winners to Disney. Is that like a real thing? Yeah, the Eagles went, they already went. They winners to Disney. Is that like a real thing? Yeah, the Eagles went.

Speaker 3:

They already went, they went to Disney.

Speaker 2:

Oh, you already go. Yeah, you get to go right away. You do all the talk shows and then go to Disney for a couple days. It's a week already, Tink.

Speaker 3:

I know it's almost a week. That's what I'm saying. It's so crazy how we've gotten here. But what was I gonna say?

Speaker 2:

I don't know, are we still Super Bowl bantering?

Speaker 3:

well, oh yeah, we have to talk about so much about the Super Bowl, all right is this my banter or is this pop culture? No, no, no, we should just talk about it.

Speaker 2:

I don't really have any Super Bowl stories except for one about yeah, I mean other things that happened that we Super Bowl stories except for one about yeah, because it's kind of old news yeah, All right. I mean so we'll stick with banter Go team, no other things that happened, that we experienced during the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3:

The halftime show.

Speaker 2:

Not thrilling, it was what it was. I like Serena Williams.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't know anything about no, I don't know anything about um, I don't know anything about Kendrick Lamar, like I said, so I really can't be a judge but I knew, I knew it was gonna be that, cause that's his music.

Speaker 2:

But whatever. I did like. The costumes was like squid games in one part.

Speaker 3:

I like that it definitely gave squid games yeah, I like that but people seem to have really liked it or they didn't like it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, again, whatever.

Speaker 3:

To each his own. Also, our queen was booed. Yeah, they booed Taylor when she went up on the Jumbotron.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and that's so weird because she holds the record in that stadium for ticket sales.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but they booed her. No, it was really weird too, though it was like the whole night was off. I told you that when the game started, when the teams were coming in, it's because he wore that outfit.

Speaker 2:

He threw everything off with that crazy outfit.

Speaker 3:

No, I mean when the teams came in like were introduced, when the Chiefs were introduced, there was like booing. Yeah the Eagles booed them, those I know and then when the Eagles got introduced, it was like wildfire, like it was crazy, so like it was, there were so many more Eagles people there, I think than Chiefs.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, well, you did see a lot of red when they did that big overhead shot. You did see a lot of red out there, but I think they were just kind of more quiet. I have no idea. Those Eagles fans were unhinged, they were From the instant it started Wildness. But why would they hate Taylor just because Travis is on the other team? It doesn't make sense.

Speaker 3:

I don't know, but here we go. I feel like she didn't get much air time either no, which I don't think she would, because he wasn't winning.

Speaker 2:

They weren't winning, so she was just sitting there biting her nails. Yeah, her expressions of all of his nothing happening.

Speaker 3:

But I don't know. Do you think this is the start of their luck changing?

Speaker 2:

Maybe I don't know, we'll have to see. We'll have to hold the phones for that.

Speaker 3:

I know, yeah, I wonder what they're going to do now.

Speaker 2:

So I'm going to tell you my best part of the Super Bowl.

Speaker 3:

Okay, what's your? You mean your favorite part of the Super Bowl? Uh-huh, okay, the food. I think that's me too.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I didn't really care for it. It was okay. I mean, I like the Eagles, we wanted them to win to get to the Super Bowl, but the game was so one-sided so it was kind of boring.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it was just they couldn't do anything. There was no progress being made.

Speaker 2:

No, Are we done with the Super Bowl? Can I move on? I think so. Okay, good Then it snowed here in New York again. We had snow, we had another audition. What else happened? Oh, we had Spa Day yesterday. Was that fabulous?

Speaker 3:

Yes.

Speaker 2:

It was excellent.

Speaker 3:

We needed it, thank goodness.

Speaker 2:

I know it was only three weeks ago, but I felt like it was like an eternity.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it definitely felt extra longer this time, but it technically was like the shortest time I think we've waited in a while.

Speaker 2:

Yeah Well, three weeks, I think we're at right. I don't know, it felt like forever.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And before I turn over to Tinker, I'm going to welcome some new listeners. Yeah, all right, here we go. Welcome to GPS Ready Mm-hmm. Surrey, british Columbia. You know where that is, Tink? Yeah yeah, british Columbia. My phone is doing weird things. Okay, phoenix Arizona.

Speaker 3:

Hey, we were there, we love you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love you guys, Melbourne Victoria.

Speaker 3:

Okay, is that Australia? Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, and Vienna.

Speaker 3:

Okay, very cool. So welcome new listeners, new locations.

Speaker 2:

Thank Vienna. Okay, Very cool. So welcome new listeners, new locations. Thank you everyone.

Speaker 3:

I want to go to Vienna.

Speaker 2:

Welcome to GPS, me too. Is that like the sound of music, right? No, it's like Wienerschnitzels.

Speaker 3:

No, it's like Vienna. Yeah, it's Austria, but it's not Salzburg, it's Vienna. It's a different part of.

Speaker 2:

Austria. I want to go there too. Let's get on that. Okay, and now for our Top countries. I don't know if they've shifted much. United States is in one, germany, germany is in two, followed by France. The Ukraine is still in there.

Speaker 3:

Wow, followed by Japan, oh interesting. So the cities compared to the new listeners, the countries, that's different.

Speaker 2:

The new listeners, the countries that's different, the new location listeners aren't the top countries or territories. Got it. That's why Totally different. Okay, it's pretty cool. Japan now is in there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, pretty cool.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, okay. So that's it for my banter for this week. Happy Valentine's Day and now hit it Tink.

Speaker 3:

Okay, here we go to pop culture. Well, everyone, yay-nuff is yay-nuff, yay-nuff is yay-nuff. Yay-nuff is yay-nuff. Yay, that's what page six says. Yay, that's what page six says. And this is about our friendly man Kanye. Yeah, and Bianca, and.

Speaker 2:

Sori, are heading their separate ways after two years of marriage. I didn't get that at all.

Speaker 3:

Now she's had enough. So the swastika shirt was the last straw. She told him that's not who he is and she can't be associated with that. He's saying that he has dominion over her and then he's selling those shirts. It reflects on her and she doesn't want any part of that circus.

Speaker 2:

No, but she'll walk around naked on a red carpet and she doesn't want any part of that circus.

Speaker 3:

No, but she'll walk around naked on a red carpet. Yes, well, but did you hear about the swastika shirt? I?

Speaker 2:

did, and now his website got shut down.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

What is going on?

Speaker 2:

No, this man is really certifiably crazy.

Speaker 3:

I'm like literally confused. I'm just so confused.

Speaker 2:

And here's the other thing thing, because he's so crazy, his kids are older. You think they're not seeing all of this stuff.

Speaker 3:

I know Like Northwest, yeah, like what's going on? What is North? Even thinking right now.

Speaker 2:

What is everyone thinking? But I feel bad for his kids, because they're the ones who are like you're dodged crazy. And what do they say? Like you know, I don't know. It's very strange. I don't know what's up with him I don't know.

Speaker 3:

But then it also says how apparently these reports are false. False that, yeah, that yay and bianca are are in Los Angeles about to enjoy Valentine's Day together.

Speaker 1:

Someone told.

Speaker 3:

The Hollywood Reporter. We don't really know what's true.

Speaker 2:

Is it a PR stunt? But I swear. I read that the website got taken down.

Speaker 3:

Yes, it was.

Speaker 2:

Oh, about her leaving him yeah not the swastika shirts. I don't know. I thought it was all combined.

Speaker 3:

No, that was true.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's true.

Speaker 3:

I can't Like. It's absolutely insane.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know what the man is thinking. I don't know what his team is thinking. I don't know what his team is thinking. I just don't understand it and there's something seriously wrong with her.

Speaker 3:

I know.

Speaker 2:

Whether she is celebrating Valentine's Day with him or not, there's still something wrong. I'm sorry that's strange. Yeah, something wrong. I'm sorry that's strange. Yeah, she's like his puppet and just does whatever he tells her. It's very weird.

Speaker 3:

It's extremely strange. I think she should run.

Speaker 2:

She should have run two years ago.

Speaker 3:

I know, when she was in. What was it? Venice? Yeah, didn't they get fined because she was in. What was it, venice? Yeah, didn't they get fined because she was, like naked?

Speaker 2:

Naked. What is that? Why do we have to see you naked? Put your clothes on so crazy, wasn't she naked there too? She's naked everywhere. He thinks that's nice. I don't know. I don't get it. They need to go to like a country that doesn't wear clothing. I don't think there is one. I know there's beaches, but they need a country that's like that.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, it's really wild. And Mr Yay, we're tired. Yep, we're done, we're really tired. Yeah, it's really tired, yeah, it's too much, too much and yeah, so that's the biggest news of today.

Speaker 2:

Or this week, I guess. Yeah, not much has happened.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's a couple interesting things, but now we'll just go to some nice little news before we get into more about hairy face. Okay, because I know you want to talk about hairy face I always like to talk about hairy face.

Speaker 2:

Why not?

Speaker 3:

there's a good subject there for new listeners hairy face is travis kelsey yes, his name is Hairy Face.

Speaker 2:

That is what I call him.

Speaker 3:

So this is some royal news and this is that.

Speaker 3:

Kate Middleton and Prince William share romantic PDA moment in rare Valentine's Day post. The sweet photo of the Prince and Princess of Wales was captioned with a single love heart emoji. Kate Middleton and Prince William are feeling the love on Valentine's Day. They marked the day in a rare move by posting a photo of themselves sharing a PDA moment on social media. The image was first released by the couple in September 2024 as part of an emotional video announcing that Kate had completed her chemotherapy treatment following her cancer diagnosis earlier in the year. The sweet photo shows the pair holding hands as William kisses Kate on her cheek while she laughs. It appeared to have been captured in a wooded area, with the duo being seen sitting on a brown picnic blanket. So this is like I feel like.

Speaker 2:

A photo set up.

Speaker 3:

Well, no, it's just like a different, it's completely different. I think that you know they're really leaning into social media.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I love that. I love it too I love that these other that the countries are all getting involved on social media because you have to move along with the times, and that is what the world is about right now social media. So I love that Kate and William are the leaders for all of the other countries to jump on it and do it and they went through a hell year between the dad and Kate. So I'm glad I like them a lot. I like that family. They're very nice.

Speaker 2:

The kids are nice, I like them. Sweet photo.

Speaker 1:

Happy Valentine's Day to them Happy Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2:

Yes, and Valentine's Day is celebrated worldwide. Yes, it is. It's not a made-up US holiday. I'd never said it was. No, I know, but I wasn't sure you knew.

Speaker 3:

I know that it's celebrated everywhere.

Speaker 2:

Everywhere when.

Speaker 3:

I was in Paris. I remember it was going to be Valentine's Day and it was. The hearts were everywhere.

Speaker 2:

Wow, I'll get there one day. Yeah, very cool. Yeah, so go William. Yeah, very cool. Yeah, so go William.

Speaker 3:

Go Kate, we love you, we hope you have a better year now okay, moving on, I guess we'll go to hairy face. So this is brand new information that I have found for us that Travis Kelsey gets deadline from Kansas City Chiefs to make decision about retirement. Yeah, so the Athletic reported Thursday, february 13th, that Kelsey will have to make a decision by March 14th about whether or not he will retire from the NFL. How do you know this? This is a brand new article, belle.

Speaker 2:

I know something else too, Part of that Travis.

Speaker 3:

Kelsey is still deciding whether he will return to the NFL for another season following the Chiefs' defeat at the Super Bowl, and the Kansas City team has reportedly given him a deadline to make up his mind. So, following the loss of the super bowl, the um, the chiefs, want to know if he's going to be retiring. So that's about it. That's the whole story.

Speaker 2:

So what do we? I know because they talked about it on their podcast, he and his brother. Well, yeah, I know that was monday.

Speaker 3:

They talked about it. They talked about it, but he didn't say that he had a deadline was.

Speaker 2:

He didn't say when the deadline was he didn't say the date, but he said they've given me a deadline. But he also said they offered him something else.

Speaker 3:

A job? No, but not officially. We don't know. No one knows. No one knows he was hinting at that Okay.

Speaker 2:

So who knows what Harry's Face is going to do? I'm telling you, harry Face's plans blew up on him when he did nothing out there. Yeah, yep, that was the worst game. So I wonder, do you think Harry Face will play again?

Speaker 3:

Do I think Harry Face will play again? Do I think Harry?

Speaker 2:

Face will play again. That's hard, I know. I think he would have retired if they won, but now that they didn't win, I think he might want to play again.

Speaker 3:

I know I feel like it's really hard to make a decision. I'm reading what he said, but I don't know. I think it's just a really, really difficult decision. Yeah, I think that if he won this year, he would have been like okay, bye, I'm good. Yes, I think that if he won this year, he would have been like okay, bye, like.

Speaker 2:

I'm good.

Speaker 3:

Yes, and that was his plan and his plan has been foiled, mm-hmm. So it's either they he tries again, but he's going to have to really like buckle down.

Speaker 2:

And the other problem is that, yeah, he can't go out to dinner every night with Taylor. He's got to focus. But the other problem is because of Taylor and his notoriety. Now the teams don't leave him alone, like they make sure he doesn't get the ball, like they stay on him so he can't get anything. They block him, they make sure he's never open for a pass, and it's because of Taylor made him famous. If he was still hairy-faced he'd probably break the record. This was his and Mahomey's worst season ever for their stats. Wow.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, for their stats, wow, yeah, well, yeah, but he also like he also broke some records, apparently. But Because I remember Jason was like telling him but you also did these great things during the game, and he was like, no Right, Like I don't care about that, Because all he wanted to do was win, which I understand.

Speaker 2:

Right, jason was crying.

Speaker 3:

He was crying, he felt bad. Did you listen to the whole thing, belle?

Speaker 2:

Not the whole. Thing.

Speaker 3:

Oh, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

He was crying, he felt bad Because he was an eagle.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

So he loves his old team, but that's his brother, so he was crying because it was so hard for him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, oh my gosh, it's just football. Everyone I know.

Speaker 2:

But that's their profession.

Speaker 3:

I know, in the greater scheme of things I don't know because obviously what does Travis want? Fame. He wants to hit the movies and hit everything. So I don't know, but I don't think this is a good way to go out.

Speaker 2:

I don't know. It's a gamble to stay in, because who knows if they're leaving to make it there next year.

Speaker 3:

I know right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, who knows, I know my homies this day, my homies, my homies.

Speaker 3:

Yeah Well. All right, so then the Eagles player, Saquon Barkley.

Speaker 2:

Yes, Saquon Wait how do you say his name Saquon? I think it is Saquon. Wait, how do?

Speaker 3:

you say his name Saquon. I think it is Saquon. Oh my God, I feel bad. Every football person is cringing right now.

Speaker 2:

They're going to write in. It's okay, write in, because you know we're not sports people.

Speaker 3:

Yeah and well, I don't know anything about this team, even though they won.

Speaker 2:

He was excellent though they won.

Speaker 3:

He was excellent. We watched him um the game before when they when we wanted them.

Speaker 2:

I remember he was the one that kept like running through them.

Speaker 3:

He goes so fast. Yeah, like with the ball he would just like bolt through and I'd be like that's the guy that they were showing. Well, anyway, he said that he slammed nfl fans for booing taylor swift. You know, I remember that they showed her on the jumbotron and she got booed. I don't get it. I don't get why she was getting hate there he told um the howard stern show.

Speaker 3:

Barkley noted how the pop star was just in the stands to cheer on her boyfriend and the kansas city chiefs, before pointing out that her attendance was only has only helped the nfl yes, that's quite true, because again we wouldn't be watching this stuff yep, she's there supporting her significant other and she's made the game bigger, barkley said before admitting that he thinks the singer's presence will help the nfl reach an international audience.

Speaker 3:

the singer's presence will help the NFL reach an international audience. Yeah, because I did see how, like, their biggest goal apparently is to, you know, bring football all over the world. Yeah, because, Like what?

Speaker 2:

But football is called football, but it's not football in like, it's like soccer, like I don't know.

Speaker 3:

they call sports different names everywhere yeah, but they want to make it more international, yes. So I guess they think like this is a way to do that through taylor. Well, it is kind of yeah, anyway, those are my two like little football stories, nice, um, and then and then an interesting update on the whole Blake Lively, justin Baldoni thing.

Speaker 2:

Oh, gosh them Just a little thing, and they were not there at the Super Bowl. We called that.

Speaker 3:

Yes, we did, yes, we did, but who?

Speaker 2:

was there.

Speaker 3:

Spicy Ice again, and the Hames sisters again.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's it. No, you said Spicy Ice, spicy Ice. And the Haim sisters again yeah, that's it spicy ice.

Speaker 3:

I can't okay. So the woman who wrote that book it ends with us she deleted her Instagram or, like you know, got rid of her Instagram, but now she's back. Her Instagram is back, but her feed looks a little different this time around. She took him off Three weeks after, deactivating her account amid the whole legal battle. The author returned this past Wednesday and eagle-eyed fans noticed that Hoover her name's Colleen Hoover. She wiped all photos of the movie's two main stars. So there's no Justin and there's no Blake.

Speaker 2:

I mean honestly, I don't blame her.

Speaker 3:

This is just a hot mess and it's not stopping yes, she had previously posted several pictures alongside the cast, including Lively, who starred as Lily Bloom, and Baldoni, who directed the film and starred as her abusive husband, ryle Kincaid. Wait, was this like a real story?

Speaker 2:

I guess so. I want to go check what's your Instagram, called Colleen.

Speaker 3:

Hoover.

Speaker 2:

Let's go check everybody. Grab your phones. C-o-l-l-e-e-n Hoover. There's a bunch of fan pages. Which one is she Tink.

Speaker 3:

I don't know.

Speaker 2:

Huh, me either.

Speaker 3:

Oh no, maybe she's deleted it again. I think so Is this old news. Old news already oh no, goodness, no, this is literally an article posted yesterday that I thought was interesting.

Speaker 2:

Hmm, Well, I don't blame her. She needs to. I mean, unfortunately, it's her book which was a bestseller and it's fabulous, so we can't take away from that.

Speaker 3:

But it's a problem.

Speaker 2:

It's a hot mess, is what it is. Yes, hot mess, yes, hot mess. So I mean I don't blame her if she put it up and then deleted it again, because it's it's really hard, like it's diminishing her accomplishment and I feel bad for her. Yep, yeah.

Speaker 3:

It's really crazy.

Speaker 2:

Those two. One wants to top the other. Maybe they're both narcissists fighting each other.

Speaker 3:

I think so. Yeah, all right, I think that's what we said last week. I think it's like two people that just want to be in control of everything. Yeah, and that doesn't work. No.

Speaker 2:

What else you got, Tink, that's about it honestly. Tink's a little sleepy.

Speaker 3:

I am.

Speaker 2:

Tink's a little sleepy, all right. So are we going on to the pup world? I think we're going to the pup world. We're going to the pup world. So not much happened in the week. However, I will just update you a couple of things. First, in case you missed it, monty, the Giant Schnauzer won the Best in Show at the 2025 Westminster Dog Show. So Monty won this guy's huge. He's been making his rounds to the talk shows. So, in case you didn't watch it like we did not watch it, but we know who won, that's who won this big giant, monty, who's a black schnauzer. See him, tink.

Speaker 3:

Oh yes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he went best in show, nice guy. That's an update and then another update from which I didn't know. Did you know that the Puppy Bowl has an MVP? They like real football games. Picks an MVP.

Speaker 3:

No, I didn't.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, well, here he is. He's a Minnesota dog and he won most valuable puppy at the Puppy Bowl.

Speaker 3:

Oh.

Speaker 2:

Here he is. Can you see Nice? Yes, apparently this guy had some moves. We didn't watch the Puppy Bowl either, but his name is Foxtrot and he's a collie from Pet Haven of Minnesota. He was named the most valuable player of the Puppy Bowl and he's a collie. He's a collie mix. So congrats to this Minnesota pup. He's a nice guy. He looked like he had fun. He was flipping and twirling, apparently All right. So those are some recaps On to a story.

Speaker 2:

Family reunites with senior Labrador retriever over seven years after someone stole the dog from their yard. Can you imagine? Rita and Phillip Potter thought their stolen dog Daisy, thought of her every day for seven years. We kept a photograph on the mantel place and we would look at it every day, thinking of her and that she where she might be. They added. We never gave up hope. In November 2017, witnesses saw someone steal Daisy from her backyard, put her in a truck. The police attempted to trace the vehicle but had no luck. Daisy's parents appealed to the public through the news and social media, but the trail on Daisy's whereabouts went cold. The authorities and the RSPCA fear the dog was taken by backyard breeders, people who sometimes steal in-demand dogs and breed them for profit, often at the expense of the canine's health and happiness. It's crazy, right Wild.

Speaker 2:

Over seven years after Daisy's disappearance, on February 2nd, inspector Kim Walters stumbled upon a lab during a routine inspection in Somerset, england, over 200 miles from the Potter's home. They found a dog in poor condition mammary masses, hip dysplasia, dirty fur under the care of a new owner who, they said, had the dog for only a few years. The new owner agreed to sign over the dog to RSPCA's care because they could not get vet treatment for the pet. After RSPCA obtained Daisy, the organization brought her to a vet. She was scanned for a microchip and her true identity was revealed. The dog was stolen and led the non-profit to Daisy's original owners, who still deeply miss the pet.

Speaker 2:

She really is the sweetest girl and will wag her tail whenever she sees you. But since she was stolen it is clear she's had a hard life. A behavioral welfare advisor for the RSPCA told the BBC, adding that the dog's health issue signaled that she could have spent time with a backyard breeder. Ooh, poor thing. They immediately contacted Rita and Phillip to share that their long-lost companion had been found alive. I was a bit choken up from listening to them and clearly how much they love her. Walter said they were obviously shocked but elated at the same time. Now Daisy's back home again and they would try to make up for lost time. And they would try to make up for lost time. We know she's elderly and has health issues, but whenever time she has left she's going to be surrounded by love. So she's back home Seven years later. That's so crazy, 200 miles away in England. Crazy. And this is kind of a follow-up, because this is season three Now. I remember talking about this last year so I'm sure this might be the third time I'm talking about this.

Speaker 3:
