Hi, I'm Tinkerbell the dog, and I'm her little sister, belle, and this is our podcast.
Speaker 2:Fierce fabulous fluff talking about stuff Gossip Pups. Fierce fabulous fluff talking about stuff Gossip Pups.
Speaker 1:Happy Friday everyone, I'm Tinkerbell and I'm Belle, and welcome to Gossip Pups, season 3, episode 5.
Speaker 3:Season 3, Episode 5.
Speaker 1:Episode Cinco Cinco, it's like Cinco de Mayo. Woo-hoo, party time Episode 5. Good morning, party time, episode five. Good morning.
Speaker 3:Tink. Good morning. It's been a slow morning.
Speaker 1:It's been a long, rough one. Happy Friday everyone. Yes, Happy last day of January.
Speaker 3:Yes, finally, it's finally here, the last day of January. It has felt long.
Speaker 2:This month has been woof.
Speaker 3:Really brutal.
Speaker 1:It was really long. I felt like this month was a year and a half.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and just everything's starting up or picking up. We didn't have that much to do this month.
Speaker 1:Yeah, but that's how January always is. For us it always is. It's like the worst. I hate it. It's like the worst, I hate it.
Speaker 3:It's like the worst slump. I hate it. I know because we're like so busy around the holidays running around doing the things, doing the partnerships, doing the photo shoots, going on set, and then January is like that's what January is. It's always just a slow time it's just terrible.
Speaker 1:Well, okay, so, yeah, I mean things have happened. Yeah, a few things, but just not at the pace we're used to them. I like them. Yeah, we want to go. Boom, boom, boom. Anyway, let's get on to banter for this last day of January.
Speaker 3:Shall we.
Speaker 1:Yeah, let's go. Here we go. So, oh yeah, we watched this weird movie called Substance.
Speaker 3:Wait, because we tried to watch the movies that are nominated for the Oscars, because don't we want to be.
Speaker 1:We want to be in it and understand everything, so we want to be able to have our opinions, even though Belle refuses to go see the one movie that everyone says is going to win.
Speaker 3:But you have to go see it in theaters. What? Because it's four hours long. Yeah, I can't see that long.
Speaker 1:I don't know what to expect from me people.
Speaker 3:I don't know what to expect from me people I don't know.
Speaker 1:Alright, fine, I'll try. I don't know how I'll do it and I don't like giving up five hours of my life to sit for a movie. That's a lot. It's asking a lot.
Speaker 3:There's apparently an intermission.
Speaker 1:Fabulous. So everyone runs to the popcorn in the soda at that time.
Speaker 3:The line is too long and you get back late for that, unless you have a fancy movie theater and then you just get popcorn delivered to you, yeah, like that one in the city.
Speaker 1:we went to see Moana 2 at yeah. That was great Anyway. So we watched the substance movie, the substance.
Speaker 3:Okay, that's what I have to say about it, you go first.
Speaker 1:It was very weird. It was like hot dog fingers, only weirder. Yeah, I couldn't finish it honestly. We turned it off.
Speaker 3:Yeah, so well. No, we didn't turn it off At a point, we just said what the heck, let's just get to the end. So we fast forward to the end. So weird and we're like, okay, that's what we thought was going to happen.
Speaker 1:And there's a million like underlining messages. But like I don't care that much about the messages to watch, that was weird.
Speaker 3:It made me so uncomfortable, but I think that's what the movie was supposed to do, belle.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's why, I don't know, I won't vote for it. I'm not a fan.
Speaker 2:It was just a lot.
Speaker 3:It was very strange, and it got stranger as it went on.
Speaker 1:Yeah, in the beginning Tink was like oh, I don't think I'm going to like this, and I was like well, let's try and see how it goes. For a while, let's stick it out. We could do it, tink.
Speaker 2:And then she kept going. It started getting gory.
Speaker 1:No, no, she was like no, no, no, and I was like, okay, I agree, let's just forward to the end now. And this is because it was getting silly weird.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:Like it was weird and silly.
Speaker 3:Well, and we don't want to like spoil it.
Speaker 1:No, that's all I was saying Don't say anything else, because it doesn't matter, don't say anything. Well, I mean.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 1:I think anything else will spoil it. I think that's enough.
Speaker 3:The substance with Demi Moore, although I did think Demi she's excellent. I did think Demi Moore was really great, like for the amount of the movie that we watched, like I thought she was great, like I understand why she would win an award.
Speaker 1:I totally understand that too.
Speaker 3:But just like the movie as a whole is Creepy, I'm getting chills through my fabulous fur right now, yeah, but we can't say much.
Speaker 1:My fierce, fabulous fur, because I don't want to give it away to the people who haven't seen it and want to see it, only say Demi Moore is gexcellent.
Speaker 3:Is gexcellent, gexcellent, gexcellent. Demi Moore is gexcellent, everyone yes.
Speaker 1:All right, moving on Great and excellent mixed together. Yes. So then Tink had a callback. She's on a short list for a job. I was yeah, so we'll see Callback time. I mean, maybe we won't know till Monday if you get it, because it's supposed to shoot Thursday, but she is on the shortest list.
Speaker 3:Yes, I am so, let's see.
Speaker 1:So whatever I got, jealous because I was like hey, excuse me, I don't understand, what didn't I do right?
Speaker 3:What do you mean?
Speaker 1:Why was I not on the short list?
Speaker 3:It's not about what you do, right, belle? I know it's not even about you, it's probably just the silliest thing. I'm too way-faced, like they saw me and they were like whoa yeah they were overwhelmed.
Speaker 1:What fabulous. But I don't know who else is on the short list I must have Tinkerbell. And then they didn't probably even look at your picture, maybe, or something. Who else is on the short list? I don't know Me either. Anyway, I bet they don't have as much fun as we do.
Speaker 3:Don't take it personally.
Speaker 1:Whatever, moving on. Oh yes, so then last Sunday we spent the entire day with football on our TV.
Speaker 3:Yeah, why are you saying it like that, belle? It was a whole day but it was fun. Yeah, why are you saying it like that, belle? It was a whole day, but it was fun, it was actually a really cool fun day.
Speaker 1:I just have to say, for those of you who doubt two intelligent pups, we picked the Super Bowl finalists pre-game.
Speaker 3:Yes, so first game, we said Eagles.
Speaker 1:We said Eagles and they won Chiefs versus Buffalo. We said Kansas Chiefs and they won Chiefs versus Buffalo. We said Kansas Chiefs and they won. So anyone who says pups don't know, we know the Eagles game was and it was proof, because if you look, when we posted, it was pre the game. So nobody can doubt us. Okay, we're smart.
Speaker 3:But I have to say the first game, the Eagles game against the Commanders, kind of got boring after a while because the Eagles were just crushing them. But wow, that Bill's Chiefs game was stressful.
Speaker 1:Wild, wild and Taylor was there. She was ready to have a heart attack up there watching Her whole family was there.
Speaker 3:Yeah, it was just. It was really stressful though.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I didn't find any wrong calls this time. Like remember, last time I was, like you know, speculating those calls.
Speaker 3:Well, everyone was speculating but, I, don't really think so, not this time.
Speaker 1:It didn't seem like it. No, because those Buffalo Bills are really dirty players. I mean, they were grabbing masks and grabbing things, flinging people by the mask and like grabbing their arms and twisting them and I was like what is happening here? I don't know. It was crazy, they were out for blood.
Speaker 3:They wanted to make it Well they didn't.
Speaker 1:So, whatever, we picked the Super Bowl teams pre-game. So there.
Speaker 3:So it's the Super Bowl from not this, not last year, but the year before.
Speaker 1:Exactly.
Speaker 3:So, eagles and Chiefs, again it's a repeat. So can the Chiefs repeat Well, if they win, then they're going to make history Three times, Three times in a row.
Speaker 1:Yeah Well, I'm voting for the Chiefs because of Taylor, oh yeah. But the Eagles are a fierce team. They're great.
Speaker 3:Yeah, but I don't think they're going to win against the Chiefs. The Chiefs are definitely winning.
Speaker 1:I want the Chiefs. They're going to win?
Speaker 3:Good, I think so too.
Speaker 1:That's not this week, that's next week.
Speaker 3:I know there's so much going on Already.
Speaker 1:Yeah, so, and what else? Oh, we had another audition this week that we're both up for, so we did pretty good. I think I don't know when We'll find out, but we did pretty good. And then yesterday I got to go hang with some of my friends at the dance studio at Legs and it was fun.
Speaker 3:Everybody loved to see me and I got to have a day at home. Yeah, relaxing, a self-care day.
Speaker 1:Tinky needed a self-care day.
Speaker 2:I like my self-care days, so she's like Belle you need to go yeah you need to get out.
Speaker 1:I need do. Yeah, because you know, sometimes I just need a day for myself. I get it. And I needed a day for socialization. I ran everywhere as soon as I got there. I was so excited. I just kept running, and running, and running. It was so great.
Speaker 3:Amazing.
Speaker 1:And that brings us to today. Happy Friday, happy last day of January 2025. And that's it for the week. Now we're going to head to Tink for her pop culture and take it from there, right, tink.
Speaker 3:Yes, go, tink. All right, some pop culture, here we go. So I guess we'll start with the queen. Of course, yeah, we have to, and it's actually nothing about really the football but um, or the game or anything, but it's just. Taylor swift listens to boyfriend travis kelsey's new heights podcast every week. Taylor swift is supporting boyfriend travis kelsey in a multitude of ways. Then, during wednesday's installment of the popular New Heights podcast he co-hosts with older brother Jason Kelsey. The star revealed. The 14-time Grammy winner tunes into the program weekly. She listens every week, kelsey said of Swift, whom he discussed with the production team of intern Brandon and Jets Jake, so they have like an intern Brandon.
Speaker 1:Yeah, they have two guys that work with them. See, we're the only ones that do everything ourselves.
Speaker 3:And apparently she was very complimentary of the show.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:And she gave them like creative compliments. So intern Brandon said that he wants to get like that. He shouldn't be. You know what's the word Like in trouble or anything that he's doing.
Speaker 1:A great job because.
Speaker 3:Taylor Swift said he was.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and did you hear that they were at the football game and they were in the booth and that the two of them, the interns, were nervous because they didn't know how to introduce themselves to her?
Speaker 3:No, I didn't know that.
Speaker 1:Oh. So let me tell you the story Tink. So the two interns got to go to the last game last Sunday and they were like a nervous wreck because they've never met Taylor Swift in person. They don't know, they were just, they didn't know how to introduce themselves.
Speaker 3:Where are you getting this info from Mel? So here's what happens. Where are you getting this info from Mel?
Speaker 1:So here's what happens, so the guys open the door to go in and Taylor sees them and goes oh my God, interns, whatever your names are Intern. Francis, Finally I get to meet you and broke the ice even before they had a chance to say anything, and they said they have never felt so comfortable and relaxed in their life and how nice she was. Yeah, she's apparently a very good icebreaker. Never felt so comfortable and relaxed in their life and how nice she was. Oh, yeah, she's apparently a very good icebreaker. I would assume so.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I read that. You didn't see that, huh.
Speaker 3:No, where did you even read that I?
Speaker 1:don't know if it's true.
Speaker 3:Your paws. You're getting your paws in all these stories.
Speaker 1:Well, I've got to keep up with you, Tink, so I've got to be in the know.
Speaker 3:Okay, well, did you know that Taylor Swift is confirmed to present?
Speaker 1:at the Grammy Awards 2025?
Speaker 3:Yes, and maybe she's going to say something about that. Taylor Swift is set to present a golden trophy on Music's Biggest Night. The Bad Blood songstress, who is nominated for six awards, will be a presenter for the 67th Grammy Awards, taking place in Los Angeles on Sunday. Are you ready for it? I'm ready. If Swift's album the Tortured Poets Department wins any awards, they'll be added to the 14 trophies she already has under her belt. So what do you think she's presenting? It doesn't say here.
Speaker 1:I don't know, it didn't say, but I'm very excited but would she? You know, like last year, she always announces something that's if she wins so she's winning. Come on, who cannot well, that's the well.
Speaker 3:I was gonna just go to the next question, which? Well one. What do you think she's presenting Best New Artist? Wait, what is Sabrina up?
Speaker 1:for Best New Artist. Well, sabrina's kind of up for everything, but I think she'll be presenting something for someone who was part of her tour.
Speaker 3:Okay, so I think, something that Sabrina's nominated for she will present, or she will announce rather, let's see, I'm going to look it up right now.
Speaker 1:So, while Tinky's fingers are looking up, I just have to say we have been with at least a dozen of these nominees In their arms, giving them kisses.
Speaker 3:I am so excited that we met so many people. Yeah, I'm going to make a reel today of it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I was reading the list, I was like Tink, we met them. Tink, we met them. A couple of them, Tink knows pre-me. But I was just so excited. I was like we know Grammy-nominated performers, Tink.
Speaker 3:Okay. So yes, we do know Grammy-nominated performers Tink. Okay, so yes, we do know Grammy-nominated performers.
Speaker 2:It's really awesome.
Speaker 3:Okay, so Best New Artist yeah, benson Boone, sabrina Carpenter, doichi Kroonbein I don't know who those are.
Speaker 1:Sorry if I mispronounced them. Well, we know, benson Boone met him Ray.
Speaker 3:Chapel Rowan Shaboosie. Teddy Swims Ooh.
Speaker 1:We know Teddy and Shaboosie and Benson Boone, but I don't know. Shaboosie held us like we were little footballs.
Speaker 3:I feel like it's between Sabrina and Chapel Roan, Like that's it. I don't really think anyone else was really in the ring. Yeah, chapel roan is not as mainstream as sabrina like yeah I feel like sabrina is like huge, yeah, and if she wins and then taylor presents it.
Speaker 2:That would be good is gonna present that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I think that'll be. I'm calling that okay. So let's call that because I agree okay okay, and then album of the year. Should we give our guesses now?
Speaker 1:all right, go name them okay it's see I get confused. So album of the year. Like every, it's too many things that are confusing to me for the grammys what do you mean?
Speaker 3:it's album of the year and then record of the year.
Speaker 1:What's the difference?
Speaker 3:between a record song and an album.
Speaker 1:A song is one, but what's the difference between an album and a record? See, I just don't understand that, isn't it the?
Speaker 3:same thing. I think record of the year is just for the artist to win and then song of the year is like for the songwriters to win and the producers and like what is album then? Album is the complete album oh tink, you're spocking have aliens going yeah, so wait so album.
Speaker 1:Anyone who's worked on wins record is just the singer but album is like the entire Team.
Speaker 3:Yes, but it's an album that's like multiple songs, like nine songs.
Speaker 1:So isn't a record multiple songs.
Speaker 3:No, a record is just one song.
Speaker 1:So wait. So there's song of the year and record of the year. So this is where I'm confused. What's the difference?
Speaker 3:I just explained it.
Speaker 1:No, you said, record is one and song is one, so how are they compete against each other?
Speaker 3:Okay, I'm going to just look it up for you to explain. But I'm pretty sure it's like, because song of the year includes, like everyone that's worked on the song, like the songwriters and everything, but record of the year is just for the artist, like recognizes the recording of one song okay for one song only okay, here we go ready
Speaker 3:yes they're both one songs okay ready. So record of the year recognizes the best recording of a song and goes to the performer okay, here we go performer, producer, recording engineer and mixer. And it honors the quality and artistic achievement of the song, regardless of sales or chart position. Where song of the year recognizes the best written song and goes to songwriters and honors the integrity of the song itself oh okay.
Speaker 1:Well, maybe tay represents Song of the Year.
Speaker 3:The songwriters accept the Song of the Year award, but the performer may also accept the award if they have songwriting credits.
Speaker 1:Okay, so if the singer didn't write the song, she doesn't get that award.
Speaker 3:Yeah, got it, and then the performer may accept the Record of the Year award. But the award also recognizes the producers and engineers and mixers.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's really confusing to me, but okay, well, does that help?
Speaker 3:clear it up.
Speaker 1:Thanks, tink. No worries Now that I just finished school, record school for the day. Guys, we all just took a journey to record school. There we go. Okay, got it Moving on.
Speaker 3:Okay, so I'm going back to my question. What do you think is going? What's your prediction for album of the year there's? This is not a record, this is not a song. This is album of the year.
Speaker 1:Everything, the whole, thing, the whole. Thing.
Speaker 3:Yeah, so there's New Blue Sun, andre 3000, cowboy Carter, beyonce, short and Sweet, sabrina Carpenter, brat Charlie XCX. Did you See Volume 4, jacob Collier, hit Me Hard and Soft. Billie Eilish. The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess Chapel, Rowan and the Tortured Poets Department, taylor Swift.
Speaker 1:Okay. Well, here's the thing Beyonce's out for blood, because they didn't give her country awards. So if she doesn't win this, I feel like she will burn the house down, so Taylor's should win it.
Speaker 3:It's just it literally has taken over the world.
Speaker 1:Yeah, where Beyonce's has not, even though they want to say it has, it hasn't, taylor's should win it. The problem is, beyonce is going to kill everyone if she doesn't win.
Speaker 3:That is the most insane take I ever heard.
Speaker 1:That's how predictions by Bell goes.
Speaker 3:So you're just writing off Billie Eilish and Chapel Rowan and Sabrina Carpenter.
Speaker 1:Yeah, peace out, because you can't compete with Taylor. First of all, I don't, I really don't, and the only one who is going to compete with Taylor is Beyonce, because there's always some underlining competition that Beyonce's team has against Taylor, even though Taylor has doesn't have it against Beyonce's team. That's how it goes.
Speaker 3:I feel like it's either going to be predictable, like like Taylor's just going to win it, or it's going to be like a dark, like one of these ones that we've never heard of Like Sabrina. Oh no, like there's these ones. I've never even heard the albums, but like Jacob Collier and Andre 3000. Like I don't know these songs or these albums.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I don't understand how they could win best when we don't know them.
Speaker 3:I don't know how is that possible, because this always happens on the Grammys. We're like wait what? What is that? Yeah?
Speaker 1:I know. That's why I'm saying Grammy School today helped, but it's a little strange, these awards, gotta say.
Speaker 3:Well, anyway, I honestly just want TTPD to win Me too, and then she's going and making the announcement. Yes, so we get the announcement. We need it.
Speaker 1:It's coming, get ready, everyone Hold on, wait for Sunday. I feel like this is a Super Bowl for us. Sunday. The awards with the music, because we know all the people. It's just so much better for us. Yeah, it's amazing, we can root for everyone. We've kissed and been around I know, we know you, we kissed you. Yes, you win.
Speaker 3:Go so true, yeah, that's how it is. All right, I think we're done with all of that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, done with that.
Speaker 3:Moving on from Grammy school and now we should move on to some top headlining information. All right, go Okay. Jennifer Aiden, not coming back to the Real Housewives of New Jersey amid cast shakeup and Jersey Mike's drama.
Speaker 1:That's the main thing. Drama of Jersey. Mike's, you're fired.
Speaker 3:The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on pause, but according to a source, there's one person who will not be involved next season. Jennifer Aiden is not coming back, a source exclusively dished to OK. It's just too much, and Aiden came under fire in early January for sharing a video to her Instagram story from a Jersey Mike's in an airport and in the in the footage, aiden explained the workers were taking a long time to make the sandwiches. She filmed two of the employees, including one who was elderly, and complained about the older workers attitude. And then she got into an altercation with a man in line after asking for more sandwiches than she had initially ordered, as we already discussed in a past episode. And then she also claimed that she's a celebrity after someone in line allegedly recognized her and said how she deserved to get the extra sandwich and this whole thing, and they got into like a huge fight and she also said how her diamonds were real and all this crazy stuff anyway, we talked about that story yes, we did.
Speaker 3:Now, while the source acknowledged the network wasn't happy with the press she garnered from that Jersey Mike's incident, they explained that even prior to this scandal, bravo was not planning to bring Aiden back. She's too much, though they shared, andy Cohen not being a big fan of hers had an influence on that decision of hers had an influence on that decision. They also claimed aiden gave screeners early copies of the episodes um the cast receives to watch before they air on tv. I believe that you don't, um.
Speaker 1:You can't do that and get away with that, they asserted she is just very I don't think I would like her, because she is such a large ego and just could care less about anyone but herself. And she's friends with Teresa. That's the only reason she got on that show to begin with. She's just rude, it's not even an ego, it's just rude, she's rude, no manners.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and the source also issued a warning to real housewives of new jersey star theresa judicia, who has been close friends with aiden for quite some time now. Theresa has a brand to protect, they explained, and she's going to have to distance herself from jen if she wants to hang out with her. She shouldn't take pictures as she's going to get slammed for it, and maybe it's even better if it's in the privacy of their own homes, so no one can take pictures and talk about it.
Speaker 1:Jennifer will take pictures and talk about it.
Speaker 3:And then Real Housewives of New Jersey will not be filming this year. Good Crazy Peace out. Shall not be missed, peace out and not be missed. On top of that, just to add on to the story, is that apparently shannon beater is replacing jennifer aiden on the housewives cruise who's this?
Speaker 1:yeah, could you imagine that crazy lady on a cruise? You can't get away from her on a cruise who's so um.
Speaker 3:She's a real housewives of orange county star I.
Speaker 1:Oh, I don't know her.
Speaker 3:And she revealed Wednesday that she will be setting sail with Teresa and Dolores on Fans at Sea's Wives on the Waves cruise in.
Speaker 1:September Wait, dolores was on the Traitors too, oh yeah, I wonder how that's going.
Speaker 3:She's really making her reality rounds.
Speaker 1:I don't know, guys, we I don't know, I'm not interested. I forgot to mention that in Bandit we tried to watch that. I think we watched.
Speaker 3:We talked about that last week. We did, did we?
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 3:No, I thought we did.
Speaker 1:No.
Speaker 3:I don't think so. Oh, no, whatever. Well, we tried to watch the Traitors is too much for me.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I just don't understand it as soon as they were on like, as soon as they were rowing boats and on rafts, like, and it just seemed so ridiculous. I was like this is I feel like I'm wasting my life away as a really long episode.
Speaker 3:It was like two hours. It's not long. It's just nothing happened, but it's like they just milk it for all it's worth.
Speaker 1:But there's not. I don't understand. There's nothing being milked. Oh, you will die. What? It's just a very strange show. I guess you have to. I don't know. I don't even know how to explain it. You will be murdered. But anyway, dolores and Dorinda were on it, and of course Dorinda got kicked off first Because she couldn't stop.
Speaker 3:She was gangster, gangster.
Speaker 1:New York in the beginning. Yeah, she was like yo, she didn't care.
Speaker 3:So she got killed first, first one murdered.
Speaker 1:But honestly, if I was her and I showed up there, and I was on rafts and doing I be like, kill me too.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I don't I'd be like I didn't sign up for this. I want to swim home, please although I don't know, it's the third season, so obviously you know what you're getting yourself into and you're a co-star.
Speaker 1:Oh, I can't say the brand. Okay, tink's job that she did in December. Her co-star is very famous From the. Traders For the Traders in Canada.
Speaker 3:I didn't even know there was one in Canada.
Speaker 1:Apparently there's everywhere, but she's very famous. Tink got to set. I had no idea who she was. How would we know? How would you know? Didn't know. So everyone's like oh, oh, oh, talking, and Tink's like who is this person? I don't know. She was very nice and she was a great co-star for.
Speaker 2:Tink but.
Speaker 1:Tink really didn't understand. Yeah, so anyway, we never we'll watch that. I just don't understand. It's not for me. How did we get on this tangent? Because Dolores is now going on another reality show with her boat.
Speaker 3:It's not a reality show, it's just a cruise that you can like. We could go on the cruise if we wanted. Oh, let's go.
Speaker 2:Like go buy ticks.
Speaker 3:You want to go on a cruise with Dolores and Teresa? No, I'll pass Wives of the waves there's no waves in the wives.
Speaker 1:You've already been with Teresa, so we're definitely passing on her. Dolores might be okay, she seems cool. Yeah, exactly, share some breakfast, but I don't really think I need to be on a cruise with them but anyway.
Speaker 3:So Jennifer also was replaced on that.
Speaker 1:I didn't know she was going on the cruise.
Speaker 3:I didn't even really know that could have been dangerous. They could have thrown her overboard. Oh my God, yeah, oh goodness.
Speaker 1:Okay.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 1:Next story, next check.
Speaker 3:Done. Reese Witherspoon says famous actress doesn't talk to her anymore after bombing serious awards speech. You're breaking up with me because I'm too funny. Reese Witherspoon revealed a famous actress ended their friendship after she bombed a speech in the unnamed star's honor. It literally haunts me. The Legally Blonde star told her you're cordially invited. Co-star Will Ferrell, during a joint interview with People published Thursday.
Speaker 3:So this friend of mine who I didn't really know that well, but she was a very serious, proper actress. She asked me to give her an award. However, witherspoon, 48, had never been to that particular award ceremony, which she thought was like a roast. So I got up and I roasted her. The Oscar winner quickly realized she had misjudged the vibe of the gala. The tone was british and classy and elegant. She explained and I was like remember the time we got laser hair removal?
Speaker 3:Witherspoon burst into laughter even thinking about the experience, which she is still embarrassed about While she looks back and laughs about the ordeal. Her famous friend didn't find it funny. We're not friends anymore. I'm not even kidding. We're not friends anymore. I think she doesn't like me anymore. I thought it was so funny and it was just I had the wrong audience. It was pretty bad, I'm not even kidding. She doesn't talk to me anymore, oh well, okay, well, well, obviously it's someone british, and although witherspoon did not give any more information about the actress in question, she took a few things away from their friendship. Um, and so they? But, as the sleuths have, you know, gone on the internet. They know who it is.
Speaker 1:Yes, we all know who it is. Okay, who is it?
Speaker 3:Can you guess?
Speaker 1:No, but it has to be someone British.
Speaker 3:It's Kate Winslet.
Speaker 1:Ah, bingo. Yeah, Kate Winslet doesn't mess around. She does not mess around. Do not mess around with her either because she will and she did Good Well, mess around. Do not mess around with her either because she will and she did Good Well. I mean, yeah, if you're asked to do something.
Speaker 1:You should find out what you're doing before going in. That would be the first clue and the first help. As a presenter, or whatever you're asked to do, is to find out, like if tink and I were asked to go to the grammys, I'd really have to go to grammy grammy school more than we did today, like just to find out more, but that's what you're supposed to do, so I she didn't obviously do the research yeah, she just showed up and thought, okay, I, I'm just going to wing it. You can't wing things.
Speaker 3:Yeah.
Speaker 1:And that's the thing Be well prepared. Tink and I always are well prepared, we're ready, and you have to be organized and well prepared. You can't just wing things because now you have no friend.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and who's right? She probably put up the boundaries.
Speaker 1:Yes, after who's right? She probably put up the boundaries. Yes, after that, and I totally think Kate is right and I'm a fan of Reese.
Speaker 3:Yeah, although like yeah I mean who knows?
Speaker 1:Whatever?
Speaker 3:Whatever. Yeah, I just thought it was an interesting story, very, and anyway, that is the end of my pop culture, excellent.
Speaker 1:Excellent Wait.
Speaker 3:What.
Speaker 1:One more thing Isn't Kylie pregnant? Yeah, we knew that. Yeah, but she's having a boy, I think. Oh, I just saw.
Speaker 3:Well, do you want me to talk about that? I saw like she was on GMA.
Speaker 1:Oh really, her podcast is supposedly flying, flying. Yeah, we gotta get like. I don't understand.
Speaker 3:It just says that pregnant kylie kelsey debuts baby bump on good morning america ahead of baby number four. Yeah um, her baby bump stole the show during her good morning america period appearance wednesday.
Speaker 1:I didn't even know she was on it. Well, we don't watch that show.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I didn't read about it 32-year-old, debuted her budding belly in a white Philadelphia Eagles tee. While chatting with Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, she left her hair down completely and wore a black jacket and jeans. Just in case you wanted to know the outfit.
Speaker 1:Oh okay, she's a normal person. I like her.
Speaker 3:Yeah, roberts congratulated Kylie on her pregnancy before the end of the segment, while Strahan started clapping for the baby.
Speaker 1:Aw, that's nice, but I think it's a boy.
Speaker 3:It doesn't say here um do we know? Um, I don't know, because it was probably I thought it was a girl, though, and I thought it was a girl.
Speaker 1:But then jason I saw said something like I'm finally gonna be um a boy dad or something. So I don't know what it is, but when is it due? We'll find out. I guess when it's due.
Speaker 3:He's got three girls no, kylie kelsey is not having a boy. She is expecting a fourth daughter. She and her husband, jason Kelsey, have three daughters.
Speaker 1:So it was a rumor, sorry.
Speaker 2:Yeah.
Speaker 1:I thought we knew that, but then I saw that Expected to.
Speaker 3:She's due in the summer.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:Yeah, four girls.
Speaker 1:I thought we knew it was four girls, but then I saw that Jason's like yay, I'm finally going to have a boy or something. Oh, I don't know.
Speaker 3:Yeah it was probably just a rumor. Bless you, jason. Yeah, go Jason. Four girls, four girls.
Speaker 1:Good luck. Okay, moving on to me with pop culture. Pup not pop, pup, pup, culture, pup, not pop.
Speaker 3:Pup, pup culture.
Speaker 1:That's right, we got the pup culture. I got three, three top stories for you. First story Arizona man never gave up hope that he would find his missing dog Ready Tink. Eight years later, they finally reunited. What Totally serious how. Arizona man had an unexpected reunion with his dog a moment eight years in the making. Even in the darkest moments, you never give up hope. Paul told ABC about reuniting with his beloved pet, who was missing eight years ago. They traveled to California to donate clothes and other items to the wildfire victims. On the way, he received a call from an unknown number, which he ignored. The caller tried again, but nothing. Eventually, the caller left a text that appeared on his watch. My Apple Watch gave me a little preview and it said your dog, damien, has been found.
Speaker 3:Oh.
Speaker 1:He was skeptical at first. After responding to the text, he learned more details. Oh so Gabalt, the owner, moved from Massachusetts to Arizona with his belongings and his five-year-old pup, damien. During a stop near Oklahoma City he took Damien for a walk, but the canine got spooked, slipped off his leash and ran away Whoa. We searched up until it got dark enough where my dad forced us to stop searching. He said we stayed for a whole week and then then he said we have to continue on. We're renting a U-Haul.
Speaker 1:In the following years he continued to search. He created flyers, posters, online, all about Damien. I kept trying to search, but the search dwindles as the years went on. Eventually it got to a point where just seeing his missing poster hurt too much and I didn't share it as often as I used to. He was everything to me, but feelings subsided when he received an unbelievable text. He and his husband ended up, ended their trip to California and made the 14-hour trek to Oklahoma. Ended their trip to California and made the 14-hour trek to Oklahoma.
Speaker 1:Donna Bentley, an Oklahoma resident, found Damien after nearly hitting the dog while driving in an area 30 miles from where Gubalt lost the pup originally. Bentley brought Damien to her brother, rick Chambers, who took the pincher to the vet because the dog looked skinny but not malnourished. Took the pincher to the vet because the dog looked skinny but not malnourished. The vet scanned Damien for a microchip and found one loaded with his contact information. The shared footage from the reunion was on Instagram. Damien initially acted shy in the clip, but soon started cuddling in his owner's arms. I think that's just insane. That. Where was he doing for all these eight years? Someone?
Speaker 1:was feeding him if he wasn't malnourished.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that's what's.
Speaker 1:Eight years, and it took eight years to find this little guy and take him to a vet to be microchip checked. But anyway he's home. There he is.
Speaker 3:Look, wow's happy I mean I don't get it kind of chihuahua looking.
Speaker 1:Look well, eight years. I don't know how he survived.
Speaker 3:He's a little guy maybe he was like with people, with people, and then they finally felt guilty.
Speaker 1:Yeah, maybe, who knows, or maybe he ran away because he's like you are not my people.
Speaker 3:He remembered one day.
Speaker 1:Yeah, he's like wait, you're feeding me, but you are not my people. Wait a second.
Speaker 3:Yeah, you are not my family.
Speaker 1:Where is my father? Next story An incredible Alabama dog detects five-year-old's low blood sugar five houses away. An Alabama dog received praise and a new toy for a job well done. Watch this incredible alert that I make as I tell my mom that the girl in trouble needs our help for low blood sugar. The dog tracker narrates in a now viral TikTok here's the thing my girl's not in the house. She's five houses away playing inside one of our neighbor's friends.
Speaker 1:Tracker is a diabetic alert dog trained to alert the owners when the five-year-old Paisley has low blood sugar. However, tracker typically alerts when Paisley is nearby. None of the alarms that normally sound were going off. I was just letting my mom know we should go check on on her. She's heard stories of dogs doing things like this, but I've never done this before. In the video, tracker heads downstairs and waits by the door before beginning his mission. In the video, tracker heads downstairs and waits by the door before beginning his mission. Now, mind you, I did not walk my daughter down to this house. I have no idea what the house she's in. She just left on her own. First of all, why are you letting a five-year-old walk out the door alone and you don't know what house she was going to, that's really strange.
Speaker 1:Parenting 101. Moving on, after exiting the front door, tracker takes notice and sniffs the footprints on the snow that matched Paisley's. Tracker walked down the sidewalk smelling path side to side. A few minutes later, tracker made their way to the porch of the friend's house. Little did I know that Paisley had already treated for low blood sugar before I came in, but I still had to see her, knowing she was okay. Look, this is them Aww. So apparently Tracker wanted to go out because he knew Paisley's blood sugar was low and he took her over there with the owner to make sure that she was okay. And it's amazing that Tracker can smell from miles away like that.
Speaker 3:Yeah, that is like really incredible.
Speaker 1:Yeah, my last and final story. Three abandoned puppies found in the dumpster had no chance. Now the little fighters are healing. At a rescue. A good Samaritan found a trio of puppies in a South Dakota dumpster. Abandoned puppies were no more than a few days old when a passerby found them in the dumpster in Sioux Falls over the weekend, and if it weren't for this Good Samaritan who stopped to investigate the young canines would never have made it A terrible fate, especially when they were local rescues able to take the little canines. Look at the little guys, Wow. There's no point in making the puppy suffer, she said. If this good Samaritan would have found these puppies, their fate would have been death. It's too cold for a human to be staying outside right now and these puppies had absolutely no chance. Thankfully, the trio of dogs, whom almost home named Bo, Birdie and Brody, were found and now warm, well-fed and being cared for by a foster family.
Speaker 1:The rescue were revealed, but nursing the pups back to full health is no small feat. Look how little they are, Wow. It's a lot of work, they said, because they require constant feedings, you have to weigh them every day and you have to stimulate them to go potty. So there's a lot of work, she said. The rescue shared that the precious puppies introducing Bo, Bertie and Brody on social media with their photos requesting donations, prayers and good vibes, and the little fighters just opened their eyes. They're desperate for some TLC. It has raised over $670 in two days. Look how little she's got them so. Needless to say, this person is working day and night taking care of these little puppies that would have been dead because they were left in a dumpster. But that's a good person, feeding them 24-7, weighing them daily. Thank you, Good Samaritan.
Speaker 3:And that's the end of my Thank you, Good Samaritan pup culture for the last day of January.
Speaker 1:Yes, I can't believe it's finally over. We're into February, finally tomorrow. Wow, wow. So I think that's it right. That's going to be it. Happy February everyone. Wow, wow so.
Speaker 3:I think that's it right, that's going to be it.
Speaker 1:Happy February everyone.
Speaker 3:I can't believe it.
Speaker 1:Yeah, me either.
Speaker 3:We're a month in.
Speaker 1:Happy last day of January, happy Friday.
