Hi, I'm.
Speaker 1Tinkerbell the dog, and I'm her little sister, belle, and this is our podcast.
Speaker 2Fierce fabulous fluff talking about stuff Gossip Pups. Fierce fabulous fluff talking about stuff Gossip Pups.
Speaker 1Happy Friday everyone, I'm Tinkerbell and I'm Belle, and welcome to Gossip Pups, season 3, episode 2.
Speaker 3Season 3, Episode 2.
Speaker 1Episode Dos Dos, also known as 105.
Speaker 3Yep Wow 105.
Speaker 1Yep Wow 105. Happy Season 3, everybody. We'll continue on with Season 3. Hope you're all staying warm, and let's start by saying that we hope everyone in LA is safe.
Speaker 3Yes and staying. I don't know. We're just thinking of you, we're praying for you.
Speaker 1All of our friends and everyone out there.
Speaker 3So sorry to anyone who's lost anything in these devastating fires.
Speaker 1It's really been like it's just insane to watch what's going on over there and one day someone we know was okay, the next day their house was gone. Yep, it's crazy, but we're thinking of everyone over there, love you all, sending you puppy hugs and kisses.
Speaker 3Yes, and also sending puppy hugs and kisses to all the pups and animals.
Speaker 1Yes, absolutely.
Speaker 3All the animals out there. Yeah, hope you're safe.
Speaker 1Yep, so yeah, this week has been strange.
Speaker 3It's just the craziest week A new year and then already this devastation going on. It's a wild world.
Speaker 1Oh, welcome to 2025, and this week in new york has been brutally frigidly cold I know, and then I feel bad like even complaining about it. I know with everything else going on well, all so, let's go to banter and not complain and not be sad and do all that. Okay, banter.
Speaker 3Yes, this is where you go to escape the problems of the world.
Speaker 1Escape everything. There's not much to escape in this week, but we've got a little bit. So what happened this week? Of course we had our bath, which was fabulous because first of all, human needs to take us to get a haircut. We look ridiculous Just saying and our hair.
Speaker 3It's so long and floofy.
Speaker 1It's so long and I have like cotton hair on my head that I just stick straight up. It's crazy. So we need a haircut. Human, get it together, find the time. So we had a bath and all the dirty came out of our long hairs.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1And we watched the fake football game with the Chiefs. That was fake because they didn't play and they tanked the game.
Speaker 3Oh, my goodness what. First of all, this is how you know that we are not like football, true football fans.
Speaker 1Yeah, we don't know.
Speaker 3Because we had no idea what was going on.
Speaker 1at first we're watching and going and Tink's like what's going on. I'm like, wait a minute, why are they not even doing anything out there? Why, who are these people out there? Where is everybody? And then we see them on the side and I'm like I don't understand. And then we see them on the side and I'm like I don't understand. And then we learned that it's called tank. Mahomes wasn't even playing first of all, Nobody was.
Speaker 1Neither was Kelsey, but they were there. Yeah, so we learned it's called tank T-A-N-K. They tanked the game. They tanked it Because it didn't mean anything, because they already won their division and they just didn't want any of the good players to get hurt. But here's my thing.
Speaker 3No, but also wasn't it because they didn't want to play?
Speaker 1the other team. They let that team win instead of whoever If this team lost the team that they were playing then this other team would get the spot.
Speaker 3Yeah, and they didn't want to play and they didn't want to do that, so it was like a strategy I think, yeah, and all both teams were in on it.
Speaker 1But here's, here's what I wanted to say. Those guys, whoever they were out there, running around or not running around, I should say, are professional football players being paid Like. Shouldn't they have at least scored like seven points? It was zero points.
Speaker 3I don't know. It just seemed like a waste of I don't know. It was a waste of a game I didn't understand. They didn't want to win but at least do something? No, they just let them keep scoring. Is it called scoring?
Speaker 1They kept getting a touchdown and a field goal. But I don't get it. At least get one touchdown to make it look like you're getting paid to do something because you are professionals, even though we don't know who any of you were. I don't understand.
Speaker 3It was really weird, yeah, and so then are those people even good players.
Speaker 1That's what I'm saying. You don'm saying. So why are they on football teams if they can't, and getting paid if they can't make a touchdown?
Speaker 3They weren't trying to the whole time.
Speaker 1Doesn't make sense. Seems like a lot of wasted money to me. Yeah, a lot of wasted money. I didn't get it. Didn't get it. I don't know. When do they play?
Speaker 3again. I'm glad that we didn't. If I was sitting in the stands watching that game, I would be bummed Because that was freezing.
Speaker 1That was in Colorado.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah. And I don't even know when's the next game. I don't know, I don't even understand.
Speaker 1I don't know. So, anyway, we did that and we were like this is stupid. We ended up turning it off and then after we realized it's called Tank the game and they were supposed to be losing, and I was like, well then this is silly, pointless and let's watch something else We've been watching, which is so good All Creatures, the PBS TV series.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1It's so good.
Speaker 3We found it again online ahead of time.
Speaker 1Yeah, you guys will be able to see it at the end of the month, I think.
Speaker 3No, I think it started like on PBS. Oh, it did, maybe this week.
Speaker 1I thought it was like in the higher numbers.
Speaker 3All Creatures, great and Small.
Speaker 1Yeah, I thought it was the end of the month, but I'm not sure Premiere Day, but we got to see. I think, wait, are we almost done?
Speaker 3Sunday, january 12th. Yeah, so this Sunday you can watch it, See I knew it was happening.
Speaker 1This is not an ad, this is just us telling you it's just a really nice TV series. Yeah, lots of animals, lots of fun.
Speaker 3You can watch Sundays from January 12th until February 23rd.
Speaker 1Wait, how many episodes did we watch already? We're almost done, I think.
Speaker 3I think we have like one more left or two more left.
Speaker 1It's almost over.
Speaker 3And then we wait another year. I know it's so annoying. It's a very short season for them, and there's definitely going to be a season six. Oh yes, absolutely. Because it was renewed for two years, so after season six. Then we have to find out.
Speaker 1Yeah, so anyway. So we've been doing that. What else happened this week? Tinky went to her first time ever to a real eye doctor yes, I did, and she got her eyes checked and she's good.
Speaker 3Yeah, my eyes are fierce, so I can't make fun of her.
Speaker 1Fierce fabulous Eyeballs, fierce fabulous fluffy balls.
Speaker 3That does not sound right.
Speaker 1Fierce fabulous focused eyes.
Speaker 3Fierce, fabulous focused.
Speaker 1So her eyeballs are very good and that was the first time she got to go to a professional eye doctor. I don't get to go yet because I don't need to go yet you're fine though they told me I'm too young to go to the eye doctor you're too young oh, we had an audition this week.
Speaker 1That was the first one audition for 2025. That was fun, and what else? Oh, yes, and today we this was like our doctor week. Today, we went and had our teeth cleaned with Anya, our fabulous doggy dental friend, who cleans our teeth without putting us to sleep, without hurting us, without doing anything dangerous, and now they're white and sparkly again and ready to book this shoot that we just auditioned for Exactly. So that's why we're late today, because the dentist had us come this morning, which means we couldn't go in the studio this morning. And here we are, yeah.
Speaker 3So that was are.
Speaker 1Mm-hmm, yeah, so that was fun. Shout out to Anya at Doggy Dental. Guys, you should look it up because it's really amazing. It's really fast, you don't go to sleep, it's not dangerous, it's no crazy things involved. Mm-hmm, it's just like she brushes our teeth. It's great things involved, it's just like she brushes our teeth. It's great, yep, very good. That's the end of my banter for this week and we're going to go to pop culture. Tink, yes, pop culture. Alright, hit it Tinky, moving on.
Celebrities Impacted by LA Fires
Speaker 3Alright. So, as we were talking about the Los Angeles fires and everything going on, here's just some of the celebrities that were impacted by the LA fires, including Paris Hilton and Miles Teller. Yes, and more. So many Hollywood stars were affected, as a series of fires ravaged through Los Angeles in early January, with wind gusts topping 100 miles per hour.
Speaker 1Mm-hmm, that's insane, it's crazy. Yes, those are called the Santa Ana winds.
Speaker 3Yes, so Paris Hilton's beachfront property was destroyed when the Palisades fire made its way through Malibu.
Speaker 1Yeah, she was watching TV and saw it happening in front of her eyes. That's wild, but she luckily had evacuated and taken all of her animals with her, because she's got a lot of animals. Wow, she took them all, thank God. Yes, exactly. So when they say evacuate, guys really do it.
Speaker 3Yes, of course you really need to listen and just do it yeah um, then heidi montag and spencer pratt announced they were sadly one of the many who lost their home due to the blaze. Uh, and with the latter posing just a few yards away from the fiery home. So also, why do I feel bad that, like I don't know who that is?
Speaker 1They're from the Hills, right? She's like a reality star, I think.
Speaker 3Yeah, yeah, we don't know those people really. Leighton Meester and Adam Brody. Now Leighton Meester is from Gossip Girl.
Speaker 1Yes.
Speaker 3Yeah, Adam Brody actor. What is he from? I don't know? Yeah, Adam Brody actor.
Speaker 1What is he?
Speaker 3from. I don't know he's done a lot though. You would recognize him, but they shared a shot that showed the fire bursting through their garage door, with the roof completely burned off, and basically their whole six-bedroom house was ravaged in flames.
Speaker 1It's crazy.
Speaker 3So wild Anna Faris who whenever. So wild Anna Faris who, whenever.
Speaker 1I think of Anna Faris. I think of Scary Movie, Scary Movie.
Speaker 3Yeah, it's like a movie that. It was like a comedy movie that made fun of scary movies and she was in it. Oh, I don't know that one, yeah, but unfortunately she lost her house as well, as well as Miles Teller. That's the actor from Top Gun, maverick.
Speaker 1Oh yes.
Speaker 3Eugene Levy. Oh, there's Milo Ventimiglia. The list is Anthony Hopkins, oh yeah, milo Ventimiglia.
Speaker 1He said that this is life imitating art, because this happened apparently on the TV show he was on.
Speaker 3I know that's what I was. I was thinking that too, that it's so crazy how this is happening. And also to Mandy Moore yeah.
Speaker 1That's what he said. He said this is life imitating art. This really is, because this is what happened in the this Is Us?
Speaker 3Yeah, exactly, was that the finale? Or it was like one of the finales, I don't know. Spoiler alert, but like their house burns down from a crock pot.
Speaker 1Yeah, remember. Well, no, I didn't see it. Yeah, you did?
Speaker 3I did. No, yeah, we watched that episode, are you sure, ting? Yeah, after the fact, we didn't watch it live because we weren't really into the show, but we had to watch the episode where.
Speaker 1Oh, to watch the episode where oh, okay, I don't remember but that's just very creepy to me, I know. Yeah, it's so strange like a. What is it?
Speaker 3it's like there's another it's foreshadowing, it's another universe, another.
Speaker 1It's so weird you know I was. I was always like, because california has the earthquakes and everything and the ocean, so everyone always says that, like the Nostradamus predicted that it was going to go fall into the ocean, so I never would have thought this.
Speaker 3Fires, even though there have been like tons of fires lately in California Tons of wildfires, but nothing like this, nothing like this. Yeah, this just got worse.
Speaker 1This is the largest detrimental Mother Nature that California has ever had. There's been nothing this sizable, not even an earthquake or anything. It's the craziest thing.
Speaker 3And then do you see these crazy people trying to start other fires um, yeah, so I don't understand I what was going on, that there's also arrested them.
Speaker 1Well, there's also a like conspiracy theory now that it's like was all started right oh well, because they, everybody has turned against the governor and the mayor and they want them out. So that's what, like all the celebrities and everyone are posting about, that it's their fault, because they don't have the water reservoirs. They don't have anything. They're supposed to because they did in the legislature. They said no to everything.
Speaker 3In the legislature. They said no to everything.
Speaker 1Yeah, and I think it was Henry Winkler that has been fueling this viral conspiracy theory about the LA fires on the internet. They're all Democratic Party, and so are the governor and the mayor, and now they said that they've wronged them and they will vote for any republican person that will volunteer to run.
Speaker 3oh my gosh, yeah, it's crazy um everything becomes political, whether it is or isn't he said yeah, he said that there is an arsonist here in LA. May you be beaten. You unrecognizable the pain you have caused.
Speaker 1What so they think? Well, they got those other guys that were trying to start the fires. But they think someone did this.
Speaker 3Yeah, and also Josh Gad wrote that too. He says that I fear that this Hollywood Hills fire is arson, uh-oh.
Speaker 1I don't know, but we did reach out. One of our favorite partners for hotels is right there at the Hollywood sign.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1The Lowe's Hollywood. It's one of our favorite partners ever and they are always so nice to us. So as soon as we heard it was hitting hollywood, we tried to talk to them and reach out and they said that they did have to evacuate briefly, but then we're okay to go back and that they're safe right now. So let's just keep them that way, yeah like, let's just but I want to know who who they are saying the arsonist, are they saying about that?
Speaker 3it's the governor and the mayor too no, no, they're not saying that, they just said there's like they're just alluding to someone doing it on purpose and I don't know this is a little large and now people are kind of fighting on the internet, but lo and behold, yeah, that's what goes on. Welcome to the world, welcome to the internet anyway. So stay safe everyone. Apparently, the fire has been zero percent contained that's terrible because they don't have enough water.
Speaker 1The firemen are using like bags, filling bags with water and throwing the bags. It's crazy.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, and did you see? I saw this article about the Wonderful Company or something.
Speaker 1What's a?
Speaker 3Wonderful Company, the Wonderful Company. They own brands like Palm Wonderful and Fiji Water.
Speaker 1Oh, ok, and a bunch.
Speaker 3it's called the resnick family and apparently they own like a certain percentage of california's water or something what yeah, like how do you own? California's water I don't understand like they bought the ocean.
Speaker 1No.
Speaker 3I don't understand, I don't know. It's like how they have control of California's public water supply, like a certain percentage of control of it.
Speaker 1Huh, I'm going to look that up. Learn something new every day. Humans own water.
Speaker 3Yeah, apparently they, because they're the biggest farmers in california oh they also own, like the pistachios um and the halos oh, the halo clementines that you eat. Yes, um, they have like a bunch of different privately owned companies under the umbrella of, like, the wonderful company.
Speaker 1So they're in control of the water.
Speaker 3you're saying they're in umbrella of, like the wonderful company, so they're in control of the water you're saying they're in control of like a big portion of the water and apparently that's why no one else has water. Yeah, who are these people, let's get them. Who are these people? I don't know, though. That's just what I saw.
Speaker 1All right then. I don't know, though, that's just what I saw. Huh, all right then. Uh, I don't know.
Speaker 3Okay, I'm going to look that up yeah, um, anyway, okay, I guess we're, are we gonna move on from that? Well, we actually aren't, because I'm gonna say one more story that I saw you're in charge you move it, and this is because, well, we talk about I don't know. I just thought this was kind of funny. Well, no, not funny, it's not funny. But it's just about how people are dragging people right now.
Speaker 1Uh-huh, a lot of that going on. Boy, is there a lot of that going on.
Speaker 3So ABC insiders embarrassed and horrified over David Muir's alleged narcissistic fashion move while covering LA wildfires. David Muir's seemingly vanity seeming vanity was unfortunately on full display while covering the deadly Los Angeles wildfire. Oh my gosh, I cannot speak today. Wildfires. On Wednesday, the World News Tonight anchor had a tone-deaf on-air fashion faux pas when he accidentally revealed to the camera that he had clothespins cinching the back of his official looking flame retardant jacket for a better fit while broadcasting live during the catastrophe. We're told people at the network were embarrassed and horrified. Multiple insiders pointed to Muir's Instagram account, which features the physically fit newsman regularly brooding wait, brutally mugging in form-fitting t-shirts with extra short sleeves that show his physique. But sources also told us that the fashion world move of cinching a jacket is par for the course for one of ABC's leading men. So now everyone is dragging David Muir for cinching his jacket.
Speaker 1Okay, let's go.
Speaker 3What do you think, Belle?
Speaker 1Here I go. Here's what I think. What's your take? My take is okay. This guy is very well clothed. He's always got his hair just so, so his clothing has to match. Okay, we've been on a lot. This is what they do, and when our clothes don't fit us, guess what? They use giant black colored safety pins on our stuff. So I don't think there's a problem with it. These people have to stop. Worry about the fire, don't worry about the guy. If you're jealous of the guy, go get some gel in your hair. What he's got gel all the time. You go get some gel. Maybe you'll feel like him. I don't have a problem with him bobby pinning the coat. I totally get it On camera. You need a smaller, less bulky look and I get it Like. Clothes pins are not a problem. Everybody uses those, really Even on the news. When you go to a news station, guess what? You'll see clothes pins hanging on their clothes too the suits of the guy. Sometimes you'll see a pin in the back. What's the problem?
Speaker 3because this is a different situation. This is not your everyday news broadcast, so that's what people were saying if he's on, it's his everyday routine, doesn't matter what the situation is.
Speaker 1He needs to have his clothes right how he is. I don't have a problem with him safety pinning his clothes.
Speaker 3I don't think it's a problem either, because it's a part of everything.
Speaker 1It's a part of real. Tv movies, film, everything does it.
Speaker 3I mean even just influencers, and stuff. Like there could be. It could be like a serious situation, but they're still going to make sure that it looks right.
Speaker 1Exactly.
Speaker 3Because that's just the way it is.
Speaker 1You have to be a perfectionist to get the point across. And he looked presentable. He didn't look like he was doing anything wrong.
Speaker 3No, it's not about doing anything wrong, it's just. But I understand where people were coming from because it's like okay, people are literally losing their homes and losing everything. And then he took time to like clothespin his jacket.
Speaker 1It's just Well he's not helping save the homes, he's just reporting about it. I know I have no problem with you. Gel hair man, it's all good. I think people just Use those pins.
Speaker 3They you know, look for everything to bring someone down.
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't have a problem. Not at all, because that's how the world is. Everybody's got safety pins, clothes pins, whatever you can grab. You know, one time they use big gaffer clips, those big black gaffer clips, yeah, yeah. So come on, we've seen those too, no problem. I do think his hair stayed abnormally still during these winds and fires. Okay, I do think that If you have to pick on something.
Speaker 2Pick on that.
Speaker 1Hair stayed abnormally still during these winds and fires. Okay, I do think that If you have to pick on something, pick on that. Everyone else was like gosh.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean, he did his hair. He did his hair Like he looks presentable, like what do you want him to roll out of bed?
Speaker 1and like, do the news have his coiffed hair and messy clothes. That's not going to fit.
Speaker 3I don't know. Then they that's not gonna fit, I don't know. Then they'd make fun of him because he looked sloppy, I don't know. I feel like it's a. It's the same as saying if, if it was a woman and she went on to report this and she had makeup on, you're gonna be like mad that she took the time to put makeup on.
Speaker 1Yeah, it's just very petty it's weird, very petty okay next story yes, zach bryan claps back at trolls.
Speaker 3An explosive instagram rant after brianna la paglia split. I can take all the hatred. I'm not asking for sympathy, but going for my friends is so low and so messed up, the musician wrote on his instagram story. So zach bryan doesn't want trolls coming for his friends hold on, he, this is the abusive guy.
Speaker 3Yes, well, too bad in the series of instagram stories posted yesterday, the country star clapped back at trolls for coming after his friends online also. All you effing couch warriors attacking and belittling my friends on the internet because you're assuming I have a girlfriend are weird as hell and should be studied for science. He began.
Speaker 1Listen, buddy, you're going to lose your listeners.
Speaker 3Everyone wonders why I quit touring and don't want to be attached to music anymore. Meanwhile, you're calling my friends ugly and harassing them. I'm not asking for sympathy, but going for my friends is so low and so messed up. Apparently I've had four different girlfriends in like two weeks. Meanwhile my friends and me are just laughing and hanging out like we always have. He then stated that he doesn't have a girlfriend and doesn't plan on having one, but has normal friends who he loves very much. Go, give your attention and time to the literal city burning down and stop being so sad and fickle and childish through screens. Last thing I'll ever say on this insane I even have to you do not know me. You never will know me. Stop acting like you do.
Social Media Controversies and Celebrity Weddings
Speaker 1Okay, this guy needs to just stop and go away. In the second post.
Speaker 3Brian wrote that he's allowed to have love, laughter and good people in his life, no matter how bad of a person you think I am, go ahead and come for me. I can take all the hatred because I'm not a child, but do not come for my friends who do nothing but love and care for me. Everyone wants you to have fun and make great music, but you guys are making it really hard to do that, with my friends getting insulted and death threats every day. He wrote that every day he gets closer to never being in the public eye again.
Speaker 1No, sorry, this guy is delusional, death threats he then did another slide. Oh, no See, this kind of person needs to stop. He wrote that he loves his life and worked really hard for it.
Speaker 3Stop being such sad and fat fingered internet sleuths. Fat fingered. We're all friends and I'm so tired of people thinking social media is a way to have a moral high ground on people they've never met. Guess people aren't humans anymore, since they can hide behind their screens Weird a-holes man. Okay, I'm done.
Speaker 1I don't think this guy's done. He likes to hear himself.
Speaker 3Then he noted that he didn't See he wasn't done. I told you he's not done, never done. Need people telling me to hang in there, sympathizing with me or giving me advice on how to handle something or things they've never coped with? I lost my mother, I've been in war zones and I've battled this whole fame thing for five years. Respectfully, I don't need your unsolicited advice.
Speaker 1Buddy, you abused your girlfriend.
Speaker 2Oh my gosh, and now you're abusing your followers on social media.
Speaker 1You need to stop.
Speaker 3Oh my God. There's a couple more slides, but I'm not going to read them. He keeps going.
Speaker 1He can't stop See, so he's a couple more slides, but I'm not. He keeps going. He can't stop see, so so he's a little off. Yeah, that's, he's got issues, he can't stop he cannot stop, which is probably part of the problem he had with this person who's gone after him. But if he has another girlfriend, there's something wrong with that girl. No, he doesn't Okay, so his friends, I don't believe, are getting death threats. Why would you give them death threats? That?
Speaker 3doesn't make sense. Yeah Well, who knows? It's really weird.
Speaker 1I think he's a little loopy and I think he should just stay off of social media, because the more he posts, the crazier he looks.
Speaker 3He always does this, this, he always goes on these rants and it's like multiple, multiple, like, and it's all word salad like. There's not like. What does he say?
Speaker 1like, what are you saying? And then the problem is that everybody screenshots things and then his publicist or some his team will see it and be like take it down. Well, guess what? You take it down, but it's still out there because everybody screenshotted. Yep, he needs to just stop and they should disconnect his socials and just tell him to take a backseat for a while. Mm-hmm, that's what I think. Yeah, no, I totally, totally agree, he's a lot Says he's going to stop and keeps going. Yep, it's a lot.
Speaker 3Just saying, yeah, I think he needs to just stay away.
Speaker 1Yeah, go away, crazy man.
Speaker 3Mm-hmm. And on that note, talking about crazy, oh no more crazy man, no Next one. So no one in the Aiden family is thrilled about matriarch Jennifer's viral Jersey Mike subs fiasco.
Speaker 1Yeah, but they ate it on the plane Starting with.
Speaker 3Bill Bill's not happy about it. The Real Housewives of New Jersey star told Page Six in an exclusive interview Wednesday, admitting that the plastic surgeon told her not to post the video. That garnered instant blowback.
Speaker 1She doesn't care, she's another one. She won't listen.
Speaker 3Yes, when I got back to our group everybody was so disgusted with the behavior. Everyone was all amped up. She recalled I was like they were so rude. That's not nice to be rude. You shouldn't be rude to a customer. You don't know who I am, but you should just not be rude in general. Then I'm like, I'm just going to post it so that everyone can see their bad behavior. And it backfired.
Speaker 1She's got the bad behavior.
Speaker 3Okay, this is crazy that there's this article, and it's been like what.
Speaker 1No, we talked about this craziness last week.
Speaker 3Yes, yes, she's crazy, but now she's literally saying that they're crazy and she's not. Yeah, who does that? So then Dorinda Medley actually chimed in, reacting to Jennifer Aiden's offensive Jersey Mike's meltdown. Reacting to Jennifer Aiden's offensive Jersey Mike's meltdown. And Dorinda Medley says that she had no idea what she was thinking. That was so offensive when you watched it. Yeah exactly, dorinda, she says. I mean for any of us who have ever worked in service or have family and friends that worked in service. You couldn't be any worse, says Dorinda Medley.
Speaker 1She's right.
Speaker 3She goes on to say that she believes her new jersey counterpart needs to stay off of social media if she can't abstain from posting questionable content. We've all done it, we've all filmed something and whenever you look at it you're like oh no, I mean I film stuff where something's in the background or something showing that shouldn't be showing and I'm like oh, medley explains before urging aiden to review your videos before you post them no, she did review it.
Speaker 1That's the problem. She reviewed it and said they were rude yeah, and that's what I think is like.
Speaker 3The biggest problem is that she doesn't get it. She doesn't get it like it doesn't and I I still don't think she thinks she's in the wrong From that interview that she did with Page Six. She's still blaming them.
Speaker 1I know. No, that's a sociopath, isn't that a sociopath? Is that a sociopath?
Speaker 3I guess, I don't know.
Speaker 1She's crazy and she should join that abuser guy and go beat each other up somewhere. Hang together, you two.
Speaker 3Yes, and I also saw that Bethany Frankel chimed in as well and Bethany was just like it was ridiculous.
Speaker 1Well, I don't think anyone in their right mind could watch that and take her side. Exactly Nobody, no one. And she watched it and still kept saying they're rude and posts it. No, it's you, lady. You Look in the mirror, you Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3Hmm, anyway, next story, sure, okay, okay. So Travis Kelsey dishes on the best season to get married, as Taylor Swift engagement looms.
Speaker 1Taylor's been quiet, by the way. Travis Kelsey.
Speaker 3Yeah, she's chilling, she's been relaxing.
Speaker 1She's probably sleeping 24-7. I know I would be too.
Speaker 3Yeah, me too. Travis Kelsey and Jason Kelsey disagreed on the best and worst seasons to tie the knot in the latest episode of their New Heights podcast. When a listener called in to complain about his fiance wanting a fall wedding, which would interfere with football season, travis claimed he does not know people who've gotten married in the fall. The Kansas City Chiefs player 35, explained All the weddings I've been to and all my friends always do it in the summer. You got to be willing to find a weekend where the team isn't playing anybody good maybe. I've seen weddings in February. I've seen weddings everywhere but the fall, so I'm not sure if the fall was a good wedding season.
Speaker 1Wait everybody gets married all year long. I don't understand. So if you're in football, you can only get married in the summer, he says. Is that what he means?
Speaker 3He says for football. So they're basically saying for football that you have to get married in like the spring or summer, or like just if you're a football player or in the football field, because it's they're playing fall and winter.
Speaker 1Oh, so it's based around their schedules, not because what he likes or doesn't like.
Speaker 3Yeah, so I guess he would prefer a spring or summer wedding, because then they're not playing football. Oh, so everyone could come.
Speaker 1All right, well then, we'll be on watch for Taylor and Travis spring and summer. Yeah, yeah, so then I don't know if it's going to be this summer.
Speaker 3Or any summer.
Speaker 1Probably next summer, maybe, maybe. Well, we all thought she was going to release something on New Year's. Remember we were like something's going to happen on New Year's Day she's going to release a.
Speaker 3Oh yeah, Our prediction was incorrect.
Speaker 1Yeah, another Swifty asked. When we did a Q&A before the New Year, one of the questions was when will Taylor release? Was it Reputation?
Speaker 3Yeah, Reputation. Taylor's version.
Speaker 1And we were like Tink, what are you thinking? I was like, hmm. So we thought together and we said New Year's Day sounds about right. So we wrote that. And we were wrong too. Just like all the Swifties, we're always wrong. Everybody just guesses yes, yeah. So wait, when did Jason get married? Then? In the summer, too April, oh okay married. Then um summer, too april oh okay, spring yeah so, all right, that's based around football, I understand. So it's not based around what he would normally like.
Speaker 3It's based around the football players april 14th 2018 at the logan hotel in Philadelphia.
Speaker 1Wait, is she pregnant again?
Speaker 3Yeah. Four right yeah four, and it's going to be a girl. I know, oh boy, yeah, okay. And my final story Okay. Is that Hoda Kotb tearfully signs off as today co-anchor and the star of Hoda and Jenna.
Speaker 1Yeah, we're going to miss her.
Speaker 3She says from the bottom of my heart thank you.
Speaker 1We love her. She's so nice. We will miss her for sure.
Speaker 3I can't believe it.
Speaker 1I know she's been on way before my lifespan.
Speaker 3Yes, 17 years Wow At the Today Show and six years of Hoda and Jenna.
Speaker 1So she's still doing stuff with NBC.
Speaker 3I don't know exactly. She didn't say. I did see an interview with her like a while ago. That just says that she's doing something in like the wellness space oh but it's not, it hasn't been announced yet. Um, but the one thing that I thought was like really cute about the whole thing this morning was that kermit the frog came on oh and sang the rainbow connection for for code for hoda and her daughters Haley and Hope.
Speaker 1Oh, they were there too. Uh-huh, oh wow.
Speaker 3So that was kind of that was really cute. Oh, that was great, but yeah, it was the final Hoda-bration.
Speaker 1Hoda-bration.
TV Show Changes & Animal Rescues
Speaker 3So now we'll see what happens. And so now it's Jenna and Friends.
Speaker 1Yeah, I don't know. I'm going to have to tune in next week and see how that's going to go.
Speaker 3It's so strange I don't even want to.
Speaker 1I feel bad saying that I don't know how it honestly is going to be, because I feel like Hoda's the draw, yeah, like Jenna seems nice and everything.
Speaker 3No, yeah, she's great, but I don't know.
Speaker 1I don't know without Hoda. We'll see, like when Hoda wasn't there and there was Understudies.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1It was never the same.
Speaker 3But when there was an understudy for Jenna. It was fine, yeah, but maybe that's just for us that's what we prefer, but other people might not. Well, it was always Hoda, it was fine. Yeah, yeah, but maybe that's just for us, like that's what we prefer, but other people might not. I don't know.
Speaker 1Well, it was always Hoda before Jenna anyway, yeah, because it was Hoda with Kathy.
Speaker 3Lee yeah, who also made an appearance.
Speaker 1Uh-huh, okay, I wasn't a fan when it was that I saw those, re saw those uh I definitely prefer hoda and jenna over hoda and kathy, or kathy and hoda, kathy, lee and kathy, I don't know. I saw those online because that was pre-me too, it's so but I saw some of them online. I was like I don't know, I didn't really like that, you know what's weird.
Speaker 3It's like I don't even remember what, how it sounded before, like kathy lee and hoda or kathy and I forget what it was, but like that sounds wrong now like hoda and jenna is like the thing that sounds right, because megan trainer made the song hoda and jenna oh yeah, but she made the one before that too.
Speaker 1What was it called kathy lee and hoda, or something it was yeah there was a song before that I'm gonna have to go back online and try to find it. But now it's like completely obsolete.
Speaker 3Like I can't even it doesn't even sound right to me.
Speaker 1Jenna and Friends. I feel like it's going to be like the Talk or one of those afternoon kind of shows.
Speaker 3I don't know.
Speaker 1Yeah, well, we'll see. Are they coming all at once, her friends, or are they going to be like each day as a friend? I don't know Me either. It's a surprise, I guess We'll see the jury's out.
Speaker 2Mm-hmm.
Speaker 3Yeah, anyway, that is the end of my pop culture.
Speaker 1All right, good job, tinker. Thanks. And moving on then to me, with pup culture, moving on to pup, I've got four stories, woo-hoo, one, yeah One. Here we go. Man rescues stray dog found in rubble of homes destroyed by Los Angeles fires. It's about caring for each other. A man who went to a neighborhood destroyed by the ongoing fires in Los Angeles found something else to care for in the rubble A lonely dog left behind.
Speaker 1Rick Miller told CNN that he had been checking in on a friend's home in Altadena, california, that was affected by the wildfires, when he spotted an injured stray dog across the street that needed help. He immediately sprung into action, laying a blanket over the canine, which had a light-colored fur and brown eyes, for comfort as he and his friends figured out how to get the animal out of the rubble and to safety. It's about caring for each other and, like everyone needs help right now, miller said as he began to tear up. Sorry for crying, but it's really emotional seeing my friends lose their houses and people losing their animals, and so we're just trying to help each other out. Here they are. See that Aw. So they brought the dog to the Pasadena Humane Society so that he could receive treatment and care. He's motivated to help the dog find the owner. People have reached out now to the Humane Society and it's just, you know, everybody's trying to pitch in as best as they can out there. But I'm glad this guy look, I'm glad he's going to be okay and was rescued A hundred percent by just some nice people.
Animal Rescue and Marathon Chihuahua
Speaker 1My next story Woman who runs two California veterinarian hospitals opens homes to pets fleeing LA fires. Now, I didn't think about this. Amid the devastating Los Angeles fires, one veterinarian is offering pets a place to stay. California veterinarian Annie Harvelix, who runs the Animal Wellness Centers in Marina del Rey. We've been there and Laguna Vista Veterinary Center in Harbor City quickly sprung into action when the first fire broke out around Los Angeles neighborhood. The same day she posted a message on Facebook letting residents know she could offer their animals a home while they evacuated the area. So I always thought everybody would just take their pets with them.
Speaker 3I know. But I guess if you're say you have, you're going to somewhere where you can't bring pets, then you're, then you're in a bind but I, I don't know.
Speaker 1I just thought during these times of crisis that the rules, you just take your pets with you and they're accepted wherever you go. I didn't think that I don't.
Speaker 3I don't think that's true, because it's just like, if you're God forbid like a homeless person and you have a pet, like a lot of homeless shelters, don't allow dogs. I knew that. Or don't allow pets. So it's just like a lot of homeless shelters don't allow kids, Like it's Well this lady says yeah, I didn't think about that.
Speaker 1Here we go. I have an empty old vet hospital in Marina del Rey. I am happy to house any animals that need to be evacuated. If you know anyone who needs to leave and doesn't have a place for their pets, please have them email me. I can open up the old hospital for temporary housing. Also, anyone wanting to help help? Here is my foundation. She wrote on the post, so also think about the hurricane. She's people just left their dogs 45 dogs come in.
Speaker 3Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. Think about the hurricane. People just left their dogs. Yeah, that one that was changed.
Speaker 1Yeah, that was chained to the fence. Whatever, I'm sorry, you could have at least driven across the border with him okay, Okay, but that's what I'm saying, Like people.
Speaker 3it's just a way to make sure that animals aren't put into a terrible situation.
Speaker 1Yeah, I mean, she's amazing. That's really really nice of her. She's taken in so many cats and dogs already, wow, so thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Guys, if anyone's in la and needs to um leave their pets anywhere, make sure it's animalwellnessfoundationorg, so hopefully you get to keep your pets with you. But just saying, okay, my third story rescue dog struggling with a large six pound tumor between her, her legs gets a mass removed and now enjoys life. Oh, I don't think you want to see the picture, tink.
Speaker 3I don't know, I'll show you.
Speaker 1Would you like to see the before and after?
Speaker 3Yeah, Sure, even though I really don't want. Okay, yes, oh goodness. Yeah, it's okay, yes. Oh goodness, yeah it's, it's okay now.
Speaker 1Look, I see I see, I'll tell you the story.
Speaker 3Oh gosh, what's the story here.
Speaker 1Snow White is finally resting in comfort.
Speaker 2Snow White.
Speaker 1Yes, because she's white. Okay, resting in comfort after spending an unknown amount of time Living with an obtrusive six pound tumor? Oh, no, so this no kill shelter In Boca Raton, florida, the two year old Great Pyrenees dog recently arrived For a transfer from Palm Beach Animal Control Center. Snow White ended up at Animal Control Center After a good Samaritan discovered the dog struggling on the street alone. It was clear she needed help. She was underweight, covered in fleas, dragging a large tumor between her legs which made it difficult for her to walk. Snow White came to us as an emergency medical case from the local Palm Beach Animal Care Control and a thorough exam revealed that Snow White had three different types of intestinal parasites and was not spayed. Additionally, the rescue's vets determined the large tumor hanging from the dog's abdomen, which sometimes touched the ground when she stood, was connected to her mammary glands. Okay, anyway, long story short, they removed the tumor, did a couple of other surgeries and she is now look how happy, aww, resting happy and looking for a new home. So Snow White is a totally cured, cleaned up pup.
Speaker 1And for my fourth and final story today, a Chihuahua who has finished six marathons is training to break her running record in 2025. Look, wow, this Chihuahua loves to run and she's sprinting to new horizons. Jellybean, a six-year-old, nine-pound chihuahua mix known for running marathons alongside of her owners, has conquered six marathons. Now she's setting a new record in the new year. The goal is to try to make it into the record books not only for a marathon, but also for a half marathon. So they adopted Jellybean in 2020. And initially, jellybean didn't seem excited to be running alongside of them. Yeah, but then, once Jellybean realized, she started loving it.
Speaker 3Okay.
Speaker 1And she just started running. The distances stretched longer and longer. She built up strength, enthusiasm for running and the chihuahua reached a half marathon, then went to a full marathon and she just is having a great time. So Jellybean's constantly training, every weekend 20 to 30 miles. She usually matches the owner's pace and they run together or with a group. He makes sure to monitor Jellybean's body language and make sure she's okay. We would run maybe a 10 minute per mile pace and he doesn't talk to Jellybean but he's watching her body language the whole time, if her mouth is open, if she's starting to slow down. But they're going to get a Guinness record Because she's running another marathon and she does finish. So go Jellybean, go Jellybean. And that is my fourth and final story for today. That is your fourth and final Thank you that final story for today.
Speaker 1That is your fourth and final, thank you. That's it for today. Friday Jellybean what an interesting dog name. Yeah, I like that because jellybeans running and rolling and rocking and rolling yeah, I guess that's about it Tink.
Speaker 3I think that's it.
Speaker 1Yeah, that's it for us. That's it for us for the day. Yes, so make sure to it.
Speaker 3Yeah, that's it for us. That's it for us for the day, yes, so make sure to listen. Review, download.
