We, of course, had our favorite bubble bath Excellent, I might add. It was wild and crazy, and I'm so excited because I'm seeing my Bark Tiny Tim ad everywhere. It's out, it's out and boom. It's really great. I'm so excited. Everybody seems to's really great. I'm so excited. Everybody seems to be seeing it. I'm so excited. I see it all the time. It's great.
Speaker 3:I like watching it. I think we talked about this last week already we did about the cap. Because I said how yeah, I wish you had the hat and the crotch.
Speaker 1:We did because I think it came out on. That came out on that day, or, yeah, last.
Speaker 3:Friday? I think so, but anyway that's.
Speaker 1:I'm keep seeing it. I'm just so excited. Yeah, it's making, making the rounds, yeah, and oh yeah, guys, you gotta get on this surprise our 2025 calendars are out yes, they are and just go our website, thinkaboutthedogcom, and you can get yours.
Speaker 3:Yes, or it's my website, you're just.
Speaker 1:I know I'm kind of like an afterthought on this website.
Speaker 3:It's like.
Speaker 2:Think About the Dog. Oh and, by the way, she has a sister named Belle.
Speaker 1:And I'm like come on, guys, excuse me, like I've got a T-Mobile commercial on, I've got a T-Mobile commercial on. I've got a Bach Tiny Tim commercial, come on.
Speaker 3:I know we have to fix that.
Speaker 1:Yeah, if you guys are good at that.
Speaker 3:Maybe you can fix it for us. It's a lot of work.
Speaker 1:Tinka and I don't have much time, these paws can't do it all. Yeah, and what else happened this week? Oh, we got a present from CBS Television. Yeah, we did, yeah, we did, and it was this there's a movie premiere called Dead.
Speaker 3:Nuggets or something. No, nugget is Dead. A.
Speaker 1:Christmas Story and they sent us for the movie premiere, which premiered Thursday yesterday, the 21st, on CBS. Uh-huh, they sent us a barcuterie board which is like a charcuterie board but for doggies it's a barcuterie board. That's kind of a tongue twister barcuterie board, but it was really good. So, thank you, cbs, we love you. We didn't watch the movie, but we will, we promise. And then what else happened?
Speaker 3:oh, yesterday we sorry, that's the most. What intense title.
Speaker 1:Nugget is dead yeah, it's nugget is dead. A christmas story is exactly it nugget is dead with a question mark a christmas story and it's all all the title okay I don't know what it is, but it is okay, it's a Christmas story, so anyway. And then we had an audition yesterday, so we'll know if we book that next week, I assume. And that wraps this up for our banter for the week.
Speaker 1:Shall I give you some of our new listeners? Sure, okay. So here we've got our new locations Muir Bush, north Rhine-Westphalia I don't know where that is, but thank you for listening Federal Way, washington, san Francisco, california and some town that I can't pronounce in North Carolina. Welcome new location listeners. We love you all.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 1:Yeah, welcome. Yeah, so wait, so gosh, we've been having this like you know how our top countries and territories Every week seem to flip-flop. United States stays at number one, but Germany's been staying at number two. But guess what came to number three? What Singapore, what? Yeah, that's cool. It knocked United Kingdom down to five and Austria's in four Whoa. Yeah, okay. So welcome new listeners, welcome old listeners. We love you all. Happy friday, and on to pop culture with tinkerbell pop culture.
Speaker 3:Yes, so there's a you know a midweek. I would say, uh, not that crazy or scandalous week, not that exciting. But a couple exciting things and of course, I have a story about the Queen. Yay, as always promised, thanks. And this is about the Chief's President. He hits back at claim that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's relationship is a marketing strategy.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I know, kansas City.
Speaker 3:Chief's President, mark Donovan, shut down speculation that Travis Kelsey and Taylor Swift's relationship is manufactured. He was asked if he predicted the attention Swift was has garnered toward the NFL team. I'd like to say that it was a marketing strategy, but it is an authentic relationship and we're happy to have it and it's been nothing but good for us, he said.
Speaker 1:That's right. It's been great for him. Oh please, their merch is like booming since Taylor.
Speaker 3:Donovan agreed that there has been a positive impact on the Chiefs. However, as fans see Swift's genuine love of the sport, yeah she's having fun. She really does, she's really into it.
Speaker 1:But it's like us. I didn't know the sport, but sometimes if we have it on I'm like run, run run run.
Speaker 3:Yeah, yeah, she said no. He said that she is an authentic fan and that matters to our fans and our fan base and it matters to us and we've tried to respect that. Yeah, so she really is an authentic member of the Kansas City Chiefs kingdom. Yeah, Well, we're in the pup kingdom too, because they sent us bandanas and stuff Wait so, but do we talk about this week too? I don't think we talked about it, because the game from this past week oh no, they lost.
Speaker 1:They lost, they got killed. And guess who's getting blamed? Taylor Taylor, because she didn't show up. So all of a sudden it's her fault. They lost, not that she's on the field.
Speaker 2:She's their good luck charm.
Speaker 3:She's not playing. She's not playing, but whenever she's been there, they've won.
Speaker 1:I know. Well, she's got to work too, you know. She's got a very important tour to do.
Speaker 3:That's coming to an end. I know it's so sad, I can't believe it.
Speaker 1:I can't believe it either. It's crazy. It's wrapping up. I wish we could go.
Speaker 3:We went. I mean again Somebody invite us again. I feel like there's only a couple shows left. I know wild, okay. So moving on to another story, are we good? I'm good, okay. So Lindsay Lohan. This is about Lindsay Lohan, so she's making the press rounds because she has a new movie coming out on Netflix.
Speaker 1:I want to see it.
Speaker 3:It's called Our Little Secret.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it's another Christmas movie. I'm so excited.
Speaker 3:I'm so excited for this movie. I loved her last one and also because Kristen Treneweth is in it as well. I know From Wicked. Yeah, oh my gosh we didn't say that in the banter. Oh yeah, okay, finish your story and then I'll cut it. Then we'll go in with that, okay. So anyway, lindsey lohan told disney ceo to pay her double for dual parent trap roles at age 12 exactly.
Speaker 1:I knew that she's right, you knew this already.
Speaker 3:Yes, I did listen I'm, I'm on it.
Speaker 3:Okay, well, lindsay Lohan said she told former Disney CEO Michael Eisner to pay her double for playing two roles on the Parent Trap when she was only 12. On Watch what Happens, live with Andy Cohen Wednesday. Lohan recalled when Eisner 82, asked her where her twin sister was at the premiere of the classic 1998 film. Where's your twin, she said. He asked I was so young I don't even know how I thought to say this, but I'll never forget what I said. Lohan said I said well, you should have paid me double because I don't have one.
Speaker 1:Exactly, I heard that and I was like you go, lindsay. That's why I like you. You're like me. Spicing it up, sass. Yeah, sassing it up, I love it. Yes, that was good.
Speaker 3:Okay, so wait Before you go on to the next story? Yes, so the next Don't go on. Well, we were talking about the movie. Yeah, well, we were talking about the movie.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's what I was.
Speaker 3:Our Little Secret on Netflix, and it also is featuring Kristen Chenoweth, who is in Wicked, and now we will go and talk about Okay because I forgot to add this to banter.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we saw Wicked, the movie, and we got a Lego present of Elphaba's perfume bottle and Galinda's hair flower and we got. We were excited, we got presents and everything and it was really nice because there was nobody there, it was like a private movie. It was really good, anyway. So I'm pausing because I honestly was disappointed. You know how I said it's way too much marketing. Yeah, it's way too much marketing because you go in expecting like boom, and for three hours. So I'm not sure who knows Wicked. And if you saw the show, you know how the Broadway show has Act 1 and Act 2 and how it's under three hours, has act one and act two and how it's under three hours. So this movie was three hours and only act one.
Speaker 3:So act two. We will see next year.
Speaker 1:So it took three hours to do what the Broadway show does in an hour and a half, and they slowed down the tempos of the songs the Oz, the Jeff man you might be a nice man, but you can't sing, Sorry. And the other lady what's her name? Michelle, Yeoh. Yeah, You're a great actor but you can't sing. Why are they in this movie? That's a musical. If you can't sing, are you supposed to be in a musical? Are they selling box office tickets? I don't think so. So what's the game with this? There's something behind hiring them that we don't know about. I was not happy with the movie. I kind of left like that's it Were you happy with the movie Belle?
Speaker 3:not really it was just okay.
Speaker 1:It was okay.
Speaker 3:The best part was Kristen and Idina were in it okay sorry, go ahead no, I'm just saying I prefer the Broadway show yes, me too hardcore and you'll get the whole story in under three hours.
Speaker 1:Yes, this, you got half the story in three hours, but it was just. It was just kind of the best visual was Elphaba in the end of the movie Flying? That was the best visuals and I will say she is excellent actor.
Speaker 3:Yeah, the Elphaba oh yeah, they did great. I mean, I thought they were, I thought it was good but it was okay.
Speaker 1:I was just expecting great, it was just okay. It was just okay. Yeah, like it. It's not great, it was just okay, and I feel like it's because they built it up too much that they can't live up to that hype.
Speaker 3:Yeah, and it didn't feel like very lush, like all the music felt very like canned.
Speaker 1:Yeah, it didn't feel good vocally.
Speaker 3:I don't know how to explain it, it just didn't hit for me.
Speaker 1:Yeah, me either. And I didn't even like. You know, I'm always like oh, I like that outfit, that costume, I know everything was just like. You know, I'm always like oh, I like that outfit, that costume, I know everything was just like okay, it was okay, like everything was okay but, nothing was like great.
Speaker 3:Yeah, I wasn't blown away.
Speaker 1:No, me either, not at all, and I was disappointed. You know, in fact, there were a couple other people in the movie theater, and when we all, when it ended, everybody, just everybody, just got up silently yeah, there wasn't any no, you know, usually if we go to these movie screenings or anything and it's good, people clap or they're talking about it.
Speaker 3:This was weird, it was like nothing yeah, and even like I don't know, I guess maybe just the jokes hit better on a stage, like I just felt like I didn't think I laughed at all.
Speaker 1:I didn't really laugh that much. I didn't think I laughed at all. Did I? Do you remember?
Speaker 3:maybe like once or twice with ariana comments, but I mean it's just like. It's just like the Glinda, the typical Glinda, you know, mean girl comments, you know it was just okay.
Speaker 1:Honestly and that's the honest truth it was okay. It wasn't great.
Speaker 3:Don't expect it to be great maybe, but some people might love it. I mean people do love it yeah, I think it's some. Some people are blown away.
Speaker 1:I don't know why Did I miss something and we saw it in 3D. So if we weren't blown away in 3D, there's something else happening.
Speaker 3:For sure.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we got to wear these black glasses. I felt like the Terminator. I would be about.
Speaker 3:Okay.
Speaker 1:So anyway, that was part of the banter. Sorry, I forgot to say it.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 1:I guess I left it out Maybe. What is that Subliminally it?
Speaker 3:just went right. It just went from the Lindsay Lohan story, so it was perfect. Yeah, perfect Got a little.
Speaker 1:There we go, tied it in.
Speaker 3:Went off on that. Yeah, okay, next story. Sure, next story. Ellen DeGeneres has moved to England after finding a house she loved in the countryside. Yeah, the former talk show host, whose long running series ended in May 2022, has moved abroad after finding a house she fell in love with in the uk. Ellen was in england house hunting in the beginning of october. She ended up finding a house that she loved and purchased it shortly after. Just last week, ellen and her wife, portia der rossi, were spotted at the farmer's dog, a pub. Wait, the farmer's dog, like the black dog, it's a pub owned by the english tv presenter and journalist, jeremy clarkson, in the cotswolds is that how you say it?
Speaker 1:I think so, but I think she's going there because she's gonna work on tv there, ellen, oh, uh, yeah I know there's a motive because she doesn't do tv here anymore, because, remember, she got in trouble.
Speaker 3:Yes.
Speaker 1:I think she's going to do TV there, and that's probably why she was at that pub too. You think so? I think so.
Speaker 3:Oh, so that's going to Okay. So that's your.
Speaker 1:That's my take. That's the bell version.
Speaker 3:Okay, Well, the Cotswolds is. I hope I'm saying it right. If I'm not, I apologize. All UK listeners.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we're sorry, we're really bad at pronouncing names, sorry.
Speaker 3:It's a popular spot for UK celebrities to pick up a country estate. The Beckhams have a home there, kate Moss, elizabeth Hurley and British Prime Minister David Cameron.
Speaker 1:It's supposed to be beautiful King Charles' estate.
Speaker 3:Highgrove House is also located there.
Speaker 1:Oh, I didn't know he was there too. Yeah, we didn't go there.
Speaker 3:Although she did say in her Netflix special how this is the last time you're going to see me. After my Netflix special, I'm done. Oh, really so maybe this is just where she's living the rest of her life in beautiful land.
Speaker 1:Yeah, yeah, maybe, maybe.
Speaker 3:Who knows, who knows, we'll see. Okay, so that's some headlining news. Yeah, that was great. Okay also so and this will just go right into another UK story about our favorite Uh-oh, your favorite, oh, the royal family.
Speaker 1:Oh, I love them.
Speaker 3:Well, actually no, it's about your, your favorite.
Speaker 1:The royal family I love them.
Speaker 3:Well, actually, no, it's about, oh no, her and him.
Speaker 1:Yes, they're not part of the royal family.
Speaker 3:I know, but Okay, so this is kind of like a A follow-up on another story that we did a couple weeks ago. Okay, and it has to do with Jelly Roll. Have you seen this?
Speaker 1:Yeah, jelly Roll lost weight. He looks great. Yes, I know, I hope we see him again this year.
Speaker 3:Well, the thing is, we finally know what Prince Harry was doing in that NYC tattoo shop. Oh, prince Harry didn't visit a high-end tattoo shop in New York City in September to?
Speaker 1:get inked up. I remember that.
Speaker 3:It was revealed Tuesday that the Duke of Sussex went to the Eastside Inc to recruit Jelly Roll to headline the closing ceremony of the Invictus Games Vancouver.
Speaker 1:Oh Jelly was getting another tattoo.
Speaker 3:The Prince 40 and the Singer 39 shared the news with a funny video where harry gets a fake tattoo, and I'm not gonna say the rest what does that mean? What does that mean um?
Speaker 1:it says how? How can you leave us all in suspense?
Speaker 3:Can I see you then?
Speaker 1:He jokes about getting a tattoo. Oh no, I'm scared guys. I don't know what's going on in his head, sorry.
Speaker 3:Prince Harry joked to Jelly Roll that he'd get a tattoo on his lower back or his ass, his butt, if the country singer would perform at the upcoming Invictus Games.
Speaker 1:And Did Jelly say yes, so did he get a tattoo on his butt.
Speaker 3:I don't know if he said yes or not.
Speaker 1:I don't know, but Jelly looks great.
Speaker 3:Oh, he went for the neck in the video. Wait what he got?
Speaker 1:a fake tattoo on his neck oh yeah but he has to get a real one right if jelly does this um no, it's fake oh okay, so is jelly doing it I think so okay oh, he said, I'll play the invictus games.
Speaker 3:You just let me give you your first tattoo.
Speaker 1:Jelly roll negotiated oh, got it go.
Speaker 3:Jelly jelly's got lots of tattoos, yeah he does, but um, yeah, so that story is strange yeah, harry needs to go away.
Speaker 1:You go with megan.
Speaker 3:Bye, and on top of, that it says prince harry sends out invitations for a Christmas charity event without Meghan Markle.
Speaker 1:Uh-oh, trouble in paradise, dun-dun-dun.
Speaker 3:So I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 1:but I think she's just not a happy person ever.
Speaker 3:Well, and also, what is he doing saying those that's not princely.
Speaker 1:He's not a prince anymore. He got banished. He's out.
Speaker 3:I think he proves himself, he thinks he's cool.
Speaker 1:I think he doesn't belong in the royal family. He really doesn't. He's like the one they found in the farm wilderness somewhere.
Speaker 3:The Queen Elizabeth must be rolling her grave.
Speaker 1:Oh the poor lady I know Terrible Hairy tattoos, yeah, on his butt. Jelly roll. I know how. About William and Kate? Like they're probably like, oh my gosh, can't he just be quiet? I bet they're saying that Like why can't he just stop? That's what I say about her too, megan. Like the two of them just need to stop. That's what I say about her too, megan. Like the two of them just need to stop.
Speaker 3:Yeah, like just reel it in and stop Completely.
Speaker 1:Yeah, that's what I think.
Speaker 3:Oh goodness.
Speaker 1:Yeah.
Speaker 3:I don't know why there's like not many interesting stories.
Speaker 1:Yeah, not much, but it's okay.
Speaker 3:I did see another article about Moana and about actually the live moana 2. No, about the live action moana. Oh so, duane johnson, apparently is they. They started filming and there's a photo that they released of him in his beefy maui costume. Oh gosh and you can see like the set photos and the live action. Moana is set to hit theaters in July 2026. Wait, but the new Moana is now Well the new one, Moana 2, is going to be in theaters next week, November 27th.
Speaker 1:Yeah, I went to see that one, but I want to see the live-action too.
Speaker 3:But here he is in real life.
Speaker 1:Oh my gosh, he doesn't even look like him.
Speaker 3:As Maui.
Speaker 1:What the heck they got him those. They drew everything exactly like the cartoon. Yeah, wow, look at the wig on his head. Who's the live action girl?
Speaker 3:It's actually not the Owly Caravello.
Speaker 1:Who is it I?
Speaker 3:feel so bad that I can't say these names. Her name's Catherine Lagaiaya.
Speaker 1:So they found her in Hawaii too.
Speaker 3:She's a newcomer. Yes, oh good. I'm sorry, catherine, if I butchered your name.
Speaker 1:She's probably younger. Lagaiaya Right, she's probably younger. Yeah, I guess, so Hold on I want to see both of them. I loved the first one. It was great.
Speaker 3:I know so much fun I don't know how a live action is gonna go oh no, did you get presents from them or something tink? No, but like I wonder how it's gonna go like a live action.
Speaker 1:It's going to be fabulous. They're going to be sailing on the seas of rough waters, flying around. It's going to be great, okay.
Speaker 3:Yeah, boom and like, but how are they going to do all the characters?
Speaker 1:I don't know. You mean the rooster, the pig, is it going to be like?
Speaker 3:Wicked like with these AI goats.
Speaker 1:Yeah, guys, the flying monkeys are really bad in Wicked and the talking goat is yeah, they just yeah, that's just good, yeah that was good. Okay, so that's good.
Speaker 3:I'm excited about that. Yeah, what else you got? That's about it, honestly.
Speaker 1:Okay, then you mean it's my turn to talk. Yes, time for some pup culture. All right time for some pup culture. Let me know what you're thinking about my stories that I found Senior dog left unable to walk after his wheelchair was stolen gets moving again thanks to the community support. What? Yes?
Speaker 3:How is a dog's wheelchair stolen?
Speaker 1:I'll tell you A Colorado dog owner is thankful for her community stepping up to replace a stolen wheelchair for her senior pet. Honestly, what?
Speaker 3:goes on in.
Speaker 1:Colorado. Why is it always Colorado? I don't know. I mean we've been there, but what goes on?
Speaker 3:there that we didn't know about. We always have pop culture from Colorado. I always do.
Speaker 1:It's really weird. The pop news is hot. I know what goes on there, guys, I don't know. Okay, anyway. So in an interview with CBS News Colorado hi CBS published Megan said her 15-year-old rescue dog, griff, can no longer walk on his own and needs wheelchair assistance. However, the wheels she had for the Schnauzer mix were recently stolen. I take them off after every walk. I leave them outside because they're dirty. He rolls around through stuff and it gets very filthy. The next morning he's pretty jazzed for his next walk. I go outside and they're gone. I have no faith left in humanity that someone would steal a disabled dog's wheelchair.
Speaker 2:I agree totally.
Speaker 1:I mean, what's wrong with people? I do too. After filing a report with the police. She said she shared the news on the neighborhood social app Nextdoor, hoping for leads. I've never heard of that. It must be a Colorado app. Over 80 people responded, offering donations, resources and support. It was so heartwarming, she said, to see compassion. Someone said they saw a guy on a bike with what looked like the wheels serving as a trailer. Can you imagine? Okay, the overwhelming response led her to accompany walk-in pets. And now they said they couldn't leave the dog without wheels. There's nothing more incredible than seeing a previously immobile pet have movement and excitement and the joy of running and playing back into their lives. So this is crazy, but they will catch the guy. But look, this is crazy, but they will catch the guy. But look, this is his new wheelchair.
Speaker 2:Aww.
Speaker 1:Yeah, and this is him Poor guy.
Speaker 3:Well, I'm happy.
Speaker 1:I'm happy he can walk again and have fun. What the heck? What is wrong with people?
Speaker 3:I have no idea.
Speaker 1:Guys, it's not yours, leave it alone. Mm-hmm, sheesh. Next story Golden Retriever earns Director of Positivity Role. On College Sports Team she always brings good vibes. They say every dog has its day, and that's especially true for a canine. At New Jersey's Montclair State University, charlie, a two-year-old golden retriever, is listed as a member of the coaching staff's support squad for the school's women's basketball team, having earned the title of Director of Positivity. Get it Positivity Uh-huh, not positivity. Positivity I it. Positivity Uh-huh, not positivity. Positivity, I get it. Good Mouth agape. Charlie can be seen smiling with his tongue out on the coaching staff's page headshot. Look so apparently he's brought this team so much luck. He's there at practices. He's there at rehearsals. Look at practices. He's there at rehearsals. Look at him. He's there at the games and apparently they're doing great. They said they have the best winning season ever because of him. He's bringing them luck. See, lucky dogs. Lucky dogs, that's a nice one.
Speaker 3:That was a nice one.
Speaker 1:Next one Eight puppies rescued after found under a burning car in California. They'll go on to live happy and healthy lives. Eight puppies are on the mend after a horrifying situation involving a car in California Last week. Five-week-old shepherd dogs were found under a burning car in Palmdale. According to NBC Per the outlet, the infant animals were located by firefighters who responded to a call about the vehicle in flames. Instead of being rehomed to an animal shelter, the pups were sent to Best Friends Animal Society, where they received life-saving care. Look, he has blue eyes. Two of the dogs, whip and Wheelie, are currently in the neonatal nursery at the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in West Los Angeles. The other six are all being cared for by foster homes until they're old enough to be adopted.
Speaker 1:In December, best Friends heard from the Palmdale Animal Shelter about these puppies. We knew bringing them into our program was crucial for their well-being. By being able to provide them with life-saving care, best Friends Pet Adoption in West LA, as well as in Loving Foster Homes, these puppies will overcome their humble beginning and go on to live happy and healthy lives. So here's the thing Where's the big dog that had birth under a car that was on fire? They don't tell this whole story. They just tell the good thing, that the dogs were rescued and thank gosh for that. Yeah, but what happened?
Speaker 3:Why was?
Speaker 1:the car on fire and why were these babies newborn under it? Where was the mother Exactly. I want to know the rest of the story. Inquiring minds want to know. So those are my three top stories for pop culture for today.
Speaker 3:Great Bye, humbug Tech. Thank culture for today. Great Bah, humbug tech. Thank you for those stories, belle.
Speaker 1:You're welcome, tinker. So I guess that's about wrapping it up. Is that wrapping it up for?
Speaker 3:this Friday. Wrapping it up for this Friday.
